The safe in my room had low battery. I asked the staff and they said they would replace the battery the next day. However I only stayed one day and couldn’t lock my valuables with peace of mind when I went to the pool. And I don’t know if anyone replaced the battery for the next guest. The tv battery was also weak and I couldn’t get to the channels. Another staff came by. She also told me that they will look into it the next day. But it was 9 pm and the pool was closed and there was nothing to do. So I reasoned with the staff and she replaced it with some hesitation. It seems that after a certain hour the responsibilities would be done the next day but this would no longer be relevant to the guest who made the request. Other staff were very helpful, like when I forgot my card key, the staff helped me get into the elevator with their key. The cleaning and restaurant staff were very polite.

Very clean and comfortable. The complementary wine tasting was lovely. Comfortable walk to the lake.

Only issue was the air conditioning didn’t work well and even though we had thermostat set to 18 which was the lowest allowed and would even feel too cold at that temperature, it never got to a comfortable temperature for us. We never felt the compressor go on.

The pools were beautiful, great saunas and steam rooms and loved the big spout in the indoor pool that gave a great back massage

The staff was very friendly and flexible. It was one of the few experiences in Hungary when they made everything possible for their guests. The hotel is top quality. Very good.

Some very unruly children, not the fault of the hotel but perhaps having designated family eating sections would be helpful.

Cannot use the pools after 8pm!

Everything was perfect! The place is beautiful, with outstanding food. The hotel, the rooms, the pools, and the overall cleanliness were all exceptional. Most of all, Dora at the front desk was incredibly helpful!

The elevator has two floor 0 where there could have been a sign to indicate that one is the reception the other is the pools. The room cleaning wasn't the best - the staff was clearly on training, but they've forgotten to leave towels for us on the first day and forgot to change the waters. Overall these are not huge things, but room for improvement.

Very well isolated rooms, even with parties nearby the room was silent. Amazing facilities, wine tasting and dinner with sommelier. Great selection of wines and pools, massage and saunas both inside and outside. 5 minutes walk away from the best beach of Balatonfüred. Staff extremely professional - even the student workers clearly raised the bar.

The modern design is very pleasing. Our room was comfortable and spacious. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet with its wide variety of dishes.

So it's tricky... in 1 hands it's look like a great luxury hotel everything looks new and high quality. But... when you digging in there is some small details that's make the hotel overprice but I aware that's in Hungary generally the rankings is different then Austria for example you can't compare 5/4* hotels between them... 1. We took the grand suite. Yes it's big and look fancy but there was some minor things less. 2. The breakfast was good but very generic there is no home tuch not exactly match to the high price. 3. The worst thing I had is the coffee I ask for cappuccino from the swimming bar and it's was one of my worst one ever . Pay attention: this is not the way to make it!!! Go down to the : Pazar Coffee Company Balatonfüred they will show you how to make it right. So the bottom of the line: yes its great luxury hotel definitely compared to other 5* in Hungary but for this price you can find better ones in other countries.
