How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Really nice accommodation in the center of Heviz. Perfect breakfast. Comfortable parking on site, but you have to book it beforehand.

Although, it was written that parking is extra pay, it seems a bit unnecessary to me, as you park in their yard, but it's not that important. The only thing I would personally remove from the apartment is the tapison in the rooms and the living room. And the towel rack in the bathroom doesn't really fit in with the environment, where everything is boutique .
Nice little apartment, very tastefully boutique furnished, clean apartment, good mattress in the room and great bed linen. Host very friendly. We also liked the location very much, as it is in a clean centre.

Nothing major. It would be nice if the parking and city tax were included in the price, just to avoid the need to pay it separately.
Convenient location, nice room, adequate breakfast, really nice owner and staff. Air conditioner in the room was very useful during the summer heat.

Very nice owner, staff, nice breakfast, nice spacious apartman(apartman deluxe) exactly like on the pictures, kitchen equipment is a big advantage (refridgerator, microwave, induction plate, toaster etc..) view from the balcony, is very near the main street in Heviz. Everything was clean and nice smell.

The breakfast was wonderful, lots of variety. Easy to use coffee machine. Breakfast room is a lovely place to meet other guests. There were many communal spaces, verandahs, beautiful plants. The location was great, easy to get to from the bus stop. The host was lovely. The walk to the lake is easy, it was a memorable accommodation.

Villa Lucia is really a great place to stay at Heviz! First - location, it is sited in one of the main streets, close to everything you need in Heviz. Room - very clean, extraordinary nice ;-), really it was pure surprise and we enjoyed the stay to the maximum. Breakfast was good, breakfast area is really nice and comfortable with possibility to sit in the garden and pet the cat ;-) Bed was more than comfortable and made the stay and sleep fully relaxed and enjoyable. Alltogether = a great decision to go there and will come back soon for sure! Well done Villa Lucia!

No elevator to 3rd floor, but they helped to carry up our luggage upstairs!
Excellent location to everything. Host was super friendly and knowledgeable about the town and the activities. Property very clean and remodeled inside and out, cozy breakfast buffet style in the garden or indoors.

Villa Lucia is really amazing! You can find everything you need in a room. Bed is really comfortable. The room was clean and cozy. Breakfast was simple but delicious 😊 The owner was really helpful and kind. Definitely will come back again! Thank you for the your hospitality!

The building is located on an intersection and the traffic is quite noisy, especially early in the morning. The hotel brochure lists free parking, but as was rightly pointed out, the internet site lists a parking fee of €7 per day on the property of the hotel.
The VillaLucia is ideally situated for the thermal spa and also close to Zala Springs Golf Resort. The room is large with plenty of room to move around. There is a ‘kitchenette’ but I wouldn’t want to make more than a cup of tea in what is essentially my bedroom.

Busy road and a lot of noise from outside.
Lovely place with nice clean rooms and a small garden. A lot to choose from for breakfast. Kind owner who was always ready to help. Closeness of the lake.

Such an amazing accomodation. It looks nice inside and out, rooms are spacious and clean, breakfast was amazing! There is nothing to complain. We could park the car on the terrain for 7€ per day. It is walking distance to most shops and Heviz. Would highly recommend staying here, we will be back for sure.

Szilárd was great host! He help us with tickets for "Topolca cave" and everything we need he enjoyed to help us. Villa Lucia is in center of Heviz, everything is near from apartment. Highly recommended!

Nothing really.
In the center of town, but not too busy. Just a short walk to the lake, market, bus stop. Nice design, the room is warm with good lighting. You can hear the birds. There is everything you need in the kitchen. Perfect for a longer stay.
