We had a bath with a shower over it and would have preferred a walk in shower, and the bath towels were quite small, but these are personal preferences and very minor things that didn’t cause a problem… we had a great stay at Up Hotel!

Up Hotel is in a fantastic location. Everywhere we wanted to go on the Pest side of Budapest was within walking distance. There are some fantastic restaurants and bars nearby, and a lovely park, market and coffee shop / bar right opposite the hotel. The room was very spacious and modern, with a Nespresso machine which was great for a morning coffee. The hotel breakfast was also really good - lots of hot and cold options. The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. There was a minor issue with the tap in our room and it was fixed within 10 minutes of us reporting it.

Brilliant hotel! - Staff were helpful and welcoming - Room was spacious, clean with a comfy bed. AC was brill and needed after a long hot day of exploring! The view from my 4th floor room overlooking the park was a lovely bonus - Excellent buffet breakfast. - Great location. Situated in a quiet area just off Andrássy Avenue, its within walking distance of most of the main attractions (15-30 mins max). Public transport connections are very close by too if needed. Just outside the hotel is a lovely little park, where the hotel also has an outside terrace bar.

The mattresses are a bit hard, everything else was amazing.

Excellent location, but my room had a window placed too high to look outside. Guests who care about this should mention it when booking. Otherwise, a very nice hotel in a quiet area, modern and well designed.

The room was spacious and had everything you need. The beds were really comfortable which was awesome after a long day of exploring. The AC was very efficient had helped to cool us down after a day in 37deg heat. The bathroom had the option of both a bath or a shower which was great. The breakfast buffet has wonderful variety, is fresh and very tasty. A great way to start the day! Most sights are within walking distance. I would definitely recommend Up Hotel for anyone visiting Budapest. They also have a 24 hour front desk which was perfect for our 12:30am check-in.

- Breakfast is really good and has variety - Rooms are very clean and spacious, very cozy - Rooms have smart tv and tablets which you can use for room service, etc. - Bathroom is spacious and has many spots to put your things on - Near the train station and several restaurants in the area Would recommend this hotel :) I requested for rooms with closed bathrooms and they assisted us accordingly. Front desk was also very friendly. Overall an excellent stay!

There was no problem at all.

Breakfast was excellent, especially so with omelets cooked by the Chef Miklos -really an incredible cook who fully deserves the title of "Chef" with his attitude, talent, and appearance. Room cleaners and all the personnel at the front desk were very helpful and kind as well. So far this is the best hotel we have stayed.

No onion during breakfast (white/red one, not this strange chinese one). Very bad GARAGE - small space and incredibly narrow entrance to the garage. For really skilled drivers only. Also GYM is very small. Would be nice if it was moved to bigger room, and You could add at least two machines for arms, back etc.

Very nice breakfast! Huge range of products. Just normal, white onion was the only one product missing. Many different milks - lactose free etc. Sweet desets as well. Also - the staff had pancakes. It would be a good idea to make some for guests as well. Nice room temperature on arrival (quite chilly - just as I like). Location is splendid! Near to nurburgring and to the city center. Very helpful and nice staff. Adorable!

Only thing I disliked was the fact that I booked an airport transfer prior to my stay there and kept the staff updated regarding my delayed flight - despite that, for unknown reasons, no one was there to pick us up at the airport. This caused some inconvenience (as it was 1AM), which we were not compensated for. Ended up using an external taxi company.

Vraiment rien à redire

Up Hotel is an accommodation that I highly recommend. It is very well located for all visits. The facilities are good, the staff friendly and the breakfast plentiful and good. We had a mishap when we lost our car keys. It took us 24 hours to find them by chance in the boat borrowed the day before. We had booked additional nights to send us our double from France. The hotel managers were very kind and understanding in agreeing to the cancellation of these nights free of charge to allow us to continue our trip. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Nothing, actually

I knew what the location would be like - that's why I selected this specific hotel. But I never dreamt the service would be that great (and in the long run it's the service that makes your stay good or bad). Every little request regarding whatever was missing in the room was fulfilled immediately. Don't think I have ever stayed in such a good hotel (and I AM a fault finding type). Way to go, guys, recommend this hotel from the bottom of my heart.

On our last night, the family in the bedroom next door were extremely loud late into the night, and the sound proofing between our rooms wasn't great. Other than that, everything was great.

The hotel was clean and modern. The breakfast was varied and tasty. The staff were helpful and accommodating. The location was within walking distance to everything in the city.

The hotel staff were very attentive and helpful. It was very easy to communicate with them in English. The hotel was also excellent in terms of both location and cleanliness. If you’re booking this hotel because of the park across the street for walking your dog, be aware that dogs are not allowed there. The dog bed that was provided was quite worn out. Upon entering the room, there was a slight unpleasant smell, and during the summer, the room was really hot.

Definitely a great location of the hotel and modern facilities. Excellent breakfast – nothing to complain about there. The chef during the breakfast was super nice! Dog-friendly hotel – however, the pet fee is relatively high.

The room is equipped very well. I loved the big windows with the view of the park and the big ashen trees in it. The bathroom is ingenious. The breakfast was simply perfect.

The towels must be bigger, softer and nicer. It’s a 4* so… The bathroom should always be a separate room, the ideea of sinks near a bed and open showers with low water pressure is a bad ideea, always. You have to ask for bathrobes and slippers at the front desk.

Everything except the fact we asked for separate bathroom from room (like room 316) and good blinds (this room we got no. 425has sink it the room, open shower with no door and sunlight at 6a.m because it lacks curtains it has only blinds. Poor designer choices I think. It was important for us as we were very tired after a long road and wanted to sleep more) but upon arrival 316 seemed not available - I guess no one noticed our optional comments and the hotel we were told was 98% booked, ok, but still I didn’t quite like that as we stayed 9 days before in the same hotel and the sixth time alltogheter and we always choose it especially because it’s a comfortable hotelu.

Comfortable room with both blinds and curtains that make the room dark enough in the morning, quiet and good sleep, nice bed and pillows, 4 bottles of water upon arrival, coffee Nespresso and tea, room 316 has the bathroom separate from the room which is big like, very good, fresh and varied beakfast from all cathegories: eggs, meat, salads, cheese of many kinds, fresh fruits, desserts and croissants even home made chocholate cake etc, overall a nice stay that’s why we always choose Up hotel while in Budapest.
