How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There is nothing to mention what could be considered bad - as stated, the hotel really exceeded our expectations.
The hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It is right outside the historic city centre so it just takes a few minutes to get there. It is very nicely layed out around an inner courtyard which also features as parking. With a bit of squeezing it was possible to get 2 cars and 1 motorcycle there (we arrived by car). The whole hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere. Everything is clean, and very nicely decorated - especially the breakfast room. The room itself was a bit more sober, but spacious and clean - including the bathroom. Free wifi worked without any problems. With Pecs being a very beautiful city, this would definitely be the hotel to return to.

Breakfast was lovely, staff were cordial, accomodating and always in good spirits. Housekeeping was spotless! A/C in room was great (important for me in the Summer).

We spent only one night, but it was exactly what we needed for a good rest after a long drive. Impeccably clean, comfortable beds, good breakfast and secure parking. People speaking English and German.

A bit small/ cramped; door to the room was next to dining / breakfast tables which is something we had not seen before
The breakfast was much better than expected, with nice, qualitative good additional extras.

The room was on the top floor and was rather hot, you can't be there without air-conditioning (which it had).
Great location and nice , clean room. Breakfast offers a variety of options to choose from.

The room was very small.
It is a good hotel for transit, but for longer stays with the family the rooms are way too small. The breakfast was ok, nothing special but you could find things to eat for every taste.

Brilliant location to the old town. We parked the car for two days and walked everywhere. Secure parking was available included in the rate. Breakfast was included. Limited for vegetarians but otherwise satisfactory. The dinner in the adjoining restaurant was delicious and good value. The room was comfortable and clean.

We were not so happy with breakfast. It was ok, but we had the same food every day - lack of creativity. The hotel itself is older; however, clean.
The location is nice. We were only a short walk to the town center, and many restaurants and pubs are nearby. The parking was a surprise. I thought we were going to park on the street, but the hotel has a secured parking lot. The size of the room was sufficient.

Parking could be better but they can not improve it due to excellent location in town.
It is a comfy, super clean place. Friendly and helpful people, good food, overall atmosphere is much like being at home.

There is a "maze" of staircases in the building, but quickly got used to it, so did not cause trouble - children were even enjoying: "like in Hoghwarts"
Room is according to my expectations - just suits to this mid price level. Breakfast was ok, continental one - good quality, but nothing special. Location is best - right in the middle of the town 5 mins walk from the main spots.

Room was boiling hot and we were unable to turn down the temperature. We are British. So for us this was so warm. For southern Europeans this might be perfect.
Great staff. Decent breakfast. Fresh bread. Jams. Eggs. Room was big. Free. Easy parking outside the hotel. Restaurant below which was nice. Close to old town.

Everything was ok
The breakfast was good, classic, and there was enough of everything! The hotel is small but cousy and in a good location, near the very center of the city. Parking is available in front of the hotel with a few parking spaces or in nearby streets.
