The communication from the hotel was fantastic, both when booked and whilst we were there. Our junior suite was absolutely amazing, so comfortable and beautifully co-ordinated, quirky in a good way! All staff were friendly and helpful. Great location and good transport links nearby. A faultless stay.

Unfortunately, the restaurant Twentysix was closed due to renovations. This is something the hotel really promotes in their marketing, and it’s one of the things guests look forward to. We had wanted to have a drink there in the evening, but that wasn’t possible. We were only able to have breakfast there on the day of departure. Even when I asked to reserve a table, nothing was mentioned about the renovation — I was simply told they would make the reservation. We only found out about it upon arrival. It would have been appropriate to inform guests in advance, especially since this restaurant is one of the main features highlighted everywhere in the hotel’s presentation. But overall pleasant stay!

Beautiful building, wonderfully comfortable beds, and excellent air conditioning. The location was perfect, just a 10-minute walk from the basilica and other sights. Communication via WhatsApp was also very easy.

We stayed for two nights and had an excellent experience. The hotel has a unique atmosphere with stylish décor, and the room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, making us feel very welcome. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches at the reception, with smoothies, coffee, and snacks available. Highly recommend this hotel, and we would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Budapest!

The most exclusive and trendy restaurant, 26, was not included in my booking. Probably my mistake… so that was a little surplus. No problemo, booked it online when I needed it. Also awesome and a must experience.

there were some slight cleanliness issues, a build-up of limescale around the edges of the shower and makeup stains on some of the towels.

the location was execellent, very central and our room was a great size with very comfortable sofa and bed (especially the pillows). The free massuese and mango coladas were and incredible added touch which made me feel like a really valued guest. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they made us feel really welcome. It's not very often you go to a hotel that makes you feel like you really get your moneys worth but all these little touches were above and beyond.

Bit of a hindrance having to visit reception on two occasions due to room key not working otherwise pretty much perfect all round. Can often hear neighbours utilising steel staircase to mezzanine level where the bedroom is located.

Heart of historical sector with easy access to most attractions. Good nightlife & many decent restaurants within vicinity. Magnificent floral display as soon as you set foot within premises.

One thing to note: check-in is strictly at 3:00 p.m. – they were firm on this, even when we arrived early. Also, the fire alarm unexpectedly went off at 2:00 a.m. on our first night, which was a bit of a shock 😩.

We had an excellent stay at Stories Hotel – it’s tucked away in a brilliant central location but still incredibly quiet at night. The rooms were stylish, clean, and comfortable, and the overall vibe of the hotel was modern with a touch of quirky charm. Staff were very helpful and even assisted in organising a dinner boat cruise on the Danube, which was a highlight of our trip – highly recommended!

It was nice that there were free small sweets, snacks and beverages by the reception but unfortunately the ice juicer slushy they had available was often empty when I came to take some. Im not sure if this was because they had it only available for specific hours during the day or it was because what they had on was always tasty that they run out! But regardless the hotel in itself was amazing.

My friend and I have enjoyed our stay very much at the hotel over the weekend. The room was immaculate and spacious, although it faced the courtyard we had no problem with the noises or lights or anything during our stay which we were highly suprised to. We enjoyed that our room had the courtyard view, an open space area you would not often see in any hotels or other country. Service was also great and staff were helpful specially when they had allowed us to leave our belongings for the day after check out to continue our roam around Budapest.

The room was super small, while browsing the pictures it did not seem that small. It was ok-ish for one person but still it felt crammed.

The staff was amazing, they had a buffee with coffee and snaks available at all times. The hotel offered free massage.
