1. Some of the front desk staff are very friendly and helpful - thanks! We've stayed at Stacio 2 times now. Some others were NOT friendly, and expected you to know things that you couldn't know about the hotel without them informing you in the first place. They were somewhat rude in a way that would not pass in other hotels or other countries. Our team of 8 encountered about 6 different front desk staff personnel, and about 50% of them are friendly | 50% not very helpful. 2. PARKING VALIDATION - the system needs to be explained in detail when checking in with a car. It was quite frustrating for all our drivers, especially since no one at the front desk explained to us how it works - there's several stipulations to get it right, and when we would go into the hotel to get help, we would either encounter a helpful front desk person, or a rude person. NOT GOOD when you're simply trying to exit with your car.

EXCELLENT breakfast included, with a huge variety! All 4 rooms were very nice, each time we've stayed at Hotel Stacio.

We stayed at the hotel for the second time, our child is lactose intolerant, so he eats buckwheat porridge in the morning. When we asked to boil the cereal for us, the restaurant flatly refused, citing the fact that they do not cook from products of unknown origin. I offered a new package with the date of manufacture. They refused. In all hotels and restaurants around the world they did it with pleasure. In haute cuisine restaurants they cooked it for us ... but not here. The chef in an ordinary restaurant at the hotel thinks that he is a person who can refuse food to a child ...

Although the spa and pool was very nice and clean, one evening was very noisy and disturbing because of some guests speaking very loud in the sauna area.

Maybe a kettle with tea and coffee in the room would be a nice touch.

The exterior of the building looked very Mediterranean and the pond with the outdoor seating area was very cosy and welcoming. Kids loved the fish, turtle, frog and the cat too.

Great location, pleasant rooms, and the TV offered a selection of movies in English. The parking area was spacious and convenient, and it cost only €1.50 per day. Good breakfast.

There was a bit of a smell in the hot tub, think it needs a clean / filter change. In the suites, the floors are really slippery in the shower / bathroom area so would be a bit careful. Maybe some non slip mats would be a good idea.

The carpet floor in the bedroom - more personal taste rather than anything being wrong with it.

- For an airport hotel it is surprisingly tranquil and surrounded by nature. A very relaxed vibe. - The health facilities - a large swimming pool and saunas. - The staff - very nice and knowledgeable. - The free airport shuttle - an efficient service that makes getting to and from the airport and centre of Budapest very easy. - The food - particularly dinner - homemade and local wines on the menu.

The cooling system in our room took a very long time to cool down the room. We alerted the receptionist and she indicated that the system just takes a long time. I recommend that they turn on the cooling ahead of guest arrival on hot days.

Nice atmosphere, helpful staff, comfortable quiet room. We appreciated that the hotel has a good restaurant with an ample range of Hungarian wines. We flew out the next morning - it was nice that a shuttle to the airport was included in the price.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! One of the best things is the free airport shuttle — it's very convenient and safe, especially if you're arriving late or traveling with kids. You can easily order one at the airport from a special taxi booth. The hotel grounds are absolutely magical! There's a small pond in the courtyard, and in the evening you can hear frogs croaking. In the morning, you might spot beautiful red ornamental fish and water lilies. The terrace by the pond is stunning, with charming garden-style tables and chairs — a perfect place to relax. The swimming pool is large, with a jacuzzi area, and the main pool is very child-friendly and comfortable for families. Breakfast was excellent — a great buffet with lots of options. I especially enjoyed the grilled vegetables — surprisingly, they were my favorite! We also had lunch at the restaurant and tried the American-style beef burger — honestly, one of the best I’ve ever had. They also have a kids' menu, which is really convenient for families. The staff is very friendly, and I especially want to mention the trainee who served us during lunch — it was a pleasure talking to her. So I can for sure recommend to stay in this hotel especially with kids.

Very good hotel in quite place. Hotel is surrounded with very nice garden. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was nice,comfortable and clean. Location is very close to airport, which is good for early flights. Hotel provides taxi from and to airport. Didn't use spa,however it's looked nice.
