Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CroatiaThe lake is for fishing only; the nearby beach is not free – entry, sunbeds, and umbrellas are charged separately. The camp is home to many insects, both alive and dead, including large spiders, which is often overlooked by guests. Free Wi-Fi is very weak; at about 150 meters from the reception, there was no signal. Nighttime movement in our section of the camp was difficult due to lack of lighting, making a flashlight necessary. The cabin is very basic. The furniture is new, but the structure is poorly insulated and wobbled with every movement – even when children turned in their sleep. This raised concerns about safety standards, as the instability is extreme. The kitchen is minimally equipped, with only a single hotplate, making cooking meals for four people challenging. The beds were uncomfortable – only partially covered with sheets, with sponges of uneven/discolored shades underneath (as if something had been spilled on them). We had to cover them with our own towels. The terrace was dirty, full of cobwebs, dead insects, and stains. Camp cabins are placed very close together, with only 1–1.5 meters between them, offering almost no privacy. There is no ATM, post office, or currency exchange nearby.
The cabin is situated by a picturesque lake – perfect for morning coffee while watching ducks and swans – truly postcard-worthy. The surrounding nature is beautiful. There is a convenient supermarket and several restaurants right next to the camp, while the town center is about 15 km away. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a practical barbecue area. Local products are sold at the entrance on Saturdays. Some accommodations, specifically the mobile homes, are spaced well and provide privacy.

SerbiaThey ask for a €50 deposit which is not mentioned before booking. To check in, every guest has to provide photos of their ID cards, a photo of themselves, and a lot of personal details, which felt excessive. We also had a big problem with bugs (coming from the lake) — there were so many that we couldn’t even open the door. Another important thing is that there are only one or two power outlets for charging phones.
The people who work there were great, always ready to help, and the beds were comfortable with clean bedding.

HungaryThe whole house, including your bed, is shaking heavily whenever someone moves in or near the house, you can also hear any noise (it's a container standing on legs). Smaller and uglier than on the photos. The stove has only one burner. The two single beds are narrow and very difficult to arrange next to each other. You can get a proper apartment elsewhere for the same price.
Close to Balaton beach, Sóstó lake on site. Shady and air-conditioned. Comfy mattrasses. Friendly and helpful staff.

United KingdomWe, a Family of four, were visiting relatives and stayed for 2 nights. Location of the camping site was just right for us, as we wanted a quiet night to relax after a busy day. Their Premium Breakfast, which was locally sourced was absolutely brilliant. As plentiful that it lasted us for 2 breakfast and a lunch. The campsite manager Tibor, was very attentive who delivered a high standard of customer care and made our stay enjoyable.

SpainOn their listing it says there is WiFi in the common areas for a fee, but when I asked at reception the receptionist just replied with a "sorry, there's no WiFi". We needed it for work, so it basically inconvenienced us GREATLY. I specifically asked upon check in, first thing after getting the keys, and now, through customer service, they are denying that I did it and that there is indeed WiFi. Additionally, while the studio is ok equipped and I find reasonable that they asked us to do the dishes before leaving, they even demanded of us to clean the floor. So while it's reasonable for them to ask of guests not to leave the the place trashed, aren't they supposed to do the job of cleaning the room?
Nature around was gorgeous .

CroatiaBefore you book you don't know that there will be no toilet paper, towels, soap, you'll need to clean up the bungalow, etc. Would that it was actually cleaned up when we came in - cobwebs galore and clumps of hair, grime and dirt all around. At least the bedding was fresh. The beds were quite hard. Also - it says there would be a kettle, which there wasn't. The instructions say to bring back the chairs to the patio at checkout, but we had 0 chairs at our patio. Just the table and nowhere to sit. There is also no wifi, so best read the fine print - it says wifi is only available at the office. I would reiterate; read the fine print, but some things they keep from you until you book with no refund possible. If we knew it was an arrangement where you have to clean up before and after yourself and sleep on hard beds, we would have splurged €20 more on a hotel room.
It was calm and beautiful to stay in nature and the staff at the front desk was very pleasant. The parking was convenient and close. Fast check in process. Location is 15 minutes from actual city center but there's small restaurants adjacent to the camp and a convenient supermarket.
