Immaculately presented both in the main areas and in the room. Very comfortable. Luxurious decor and services like turn down in the evening and chocolates on the pillow with a weather card for the next day.

The breakfast buffet need to improve in it's variety and quality. The salt and pepper cruets in the restaurant are very basic and not suitable for such good hotel.

I liked the staff as they were very Cooperative and helpful. I liked the size of the rooms, very spacious.

Although the reservation was for both myself and my husband, the hotel only wanted to honour 1 included breakfast as the reservation only referenced 1 person. After pointing out the ridiculous nature of this technicality, they did honour 2 breakfasts.

Everything was perfect-friendly and helpful staff,beautiful and modern clean rooms, perfect and abundant breakfast. Location is great, in the centre. If we ever go back,we'll definitely stay there again.

TV cable was cutting out. Order pornstar martini at your own risk. We felt we were given a pure lime juice at the hotel bar. Coffee machine could be a bit faster. It took forever to make 2 cups

Location is great! Very close to the river and restaurants. Not far from fashion street. Everything is in walking distance. Overall, especially room, cleanliness was immaculate! Breakfast was good.

- it was a bit loud outside, not possible to open the windows - found many hair on the floor - breakfast could be a bit more diverse - staff was a bit disengaged during the check in

90% of the rooms face indoors so even though there is a terrace, it looks down onto the lobby, you cannot see outside. No place to put the hand soap in the sink.

The breakfast was amazing with a massive selection of cooked items, pastries, cereals and fruits. Very close to main town and restaurant. Staff helped with everything that was needed. Good little touches with chocolates and other items in the room.

Can't fault this hotel in any way, we loved every aspect of our stay.

Wonderful welcome by the staff. Rooms were beautifully clean and well decorated with comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast selection. Location was superb, a few minutes walk from St Stephen's Basilica and the Chain Bridge.

Everything was perfect

The hotel is well situated and the rooms very clean. The breakfast is excellent. The best thing though, is the staff, they are very freindly, helpful and always go out of their way to make sure that everything is perfect.

3 things to improve: The mattress was way too hard. After couple of nights, it was hurting in some places and felt uncomfortable. The pillows are in bad shape and make the entire sleeping experience not the best one. Last thing.. the “big” towels in the bathroom are not big enough and felt cheap, very hard material and worn out.

The hotel is great and the location is very central. Our room was on the 6th floor facing the inner part of the hotel. Room was very clean, spotless! Every evening the room was cleaned again and information card with excepted weather was left on the bed with some chocolates. Fresh water and sparkling water was given daily in the room, which was nice.

Try to ensure your room is not beside the stairwell door. It slams very loudly.

The design and space are stellar. Marvelous staff and top notch amenities. Excellent breakfast as well. Coates Downtown is pricey but worth every penny for dinner.
