How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

All was okay
I was well received,The parking for my Mercedes Vito XL was spacious and safe. The room and attached bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good.

Great peaceful location, clean room, good breakfast for this price, but the best was the stuff. Best regards to the big guy at the front desk! He was so charming and funny. :) We love good vibes. We will definitely come back here.

I was missing some shelves in the closet and especially in the bathroom.
Breakfast was basic. Bread, salami, cheese, vegetables, spreads. Tea or coffee is served upon request. The room was ok. The hotel is a great starting point for Budapest. Public transport is 3 minutes away and runs smoothly and very frequently. The staff was friendly and always available and ready to help.

Shower can be improved at triple room, it-s ok now, but it is common with the sink, a little bit harder to use.
We come for many years in this location, in tranzit for ski location, this year we used it for visiting 1 day Budapest. It-s always nice, simple but warm, clean, confortable, very good simple breakfast greek style 😀

Breakfast was pretty standard (meaning - good), but was lacking ordinary yogurt (only fruit ones were available). Coffee is also a filtered version (filtered coffee) so if you're a fan of coffee better get one in the city.
The room was spacious, beds were hard (but I like it!). There's everything you need, except for a shampoo. :) You have a hard soap but my daughter needed a shampoo. So take one with you. Location-wise - great if you're with a car - it's a 5 minute ride to P+R. Parking is available but the fence closes in the evening, so if you're late you'd have to park outside somewhere - free until 8am when fence opens so you can move the car back in the yard.

On the first day there was a disturbing cigarette smell inside the hotel but we didn't smell the smoke inside our room. We couldn't open the safe unfortunately to leave our belongings in there (we didn't ask for help so could be the thing that we were lame lol)
The Hungarian lady and her lovely Greek husband were both very lovely and helpful including the rest of the staff as well. This little hotel is beautiful, well maintained and very clean. Bed is super comfortable! I've read most reviews and we chose this accommodation because of the firm mattress reviews. It was a dream and we both had such a good sleep! Room got tidied during the day and floor towels got changed (which we really appreciated) and they allowed us to have breakfast (not rushing us at all) although we showed up 10 mins before breakfast time ended. The owner lady came to the door to wave us goodbye whilst we were waiting for our taxi. This attentiveness and kindness is really rare lately. We will definitely come back here as we love family run businesses. Bathroom is spacious and very clean. When they are cleaning in the morning they are very considerate and quiet not like in other hotels. Taxi prices are about 6000-7000 HUF per journey from the hotel to the city centre of Budapest. The owner lady was helpful with finding a local cab company for us. Brilliant stay! We can only recommend it!

Very well located in a nice quiet area, with nice views, but very close to the highway which is a plus when you leave . Nice neighborhood, bus station very close to the property. The facilities were great- very clean , everything you need. The host was welcoming. The breakfast was very good . A very big plus is the parking. I recommend !

Bed mattresses a little hard, we like them softer.
Excellent hotel, comfortable, clean, silent. Good breakfast even if simple. Easy car park in the hotel garden. At few minute walking to the bus stop.

No lift. A bit far from city center but Bolt app works OK in the area.

There is nothing to complain about, bit away from the city center by public transport (nothing horrible, cca 35 min.)
Friendly and helpful staff. Cosy place to stay. Great peaceful location. Spacey, comfortable and clean room. Buffet breakfast was more than adequate. Large free parking lot. Really good value for money. I'll come back again.
