Smoking guests and the smoke travelled to our room - not a good way to wake up.

I wish there were a bit clearer indicators about which pool has which properties. I think I would have found them more easily this way. Overall it is all great!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had everything one may need for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent, you'll get everywhere on foot easily — to a grocery shops nearby, to the market square and to the main streets. Spa is great, and I specifically liked the small pool with massage of various muscle groups. I also enjoyed a little garden with chess ♟️

Forced to get naked, when there was absolutely no need for it, for mud treatment. If they did care about any of my underwear or swimming trunks getting stained, they should have provided some disposable "modesty pouches" of some kind. This is a bad miscalculation by "non western Europeans" that feel it's ok to do this. Similarly bad experience at the sauna. Was directed into "non nude" section, as requested, only to find nude people there, so i decided to follow and undress, only to face mixed males and females passing by. Very unclear and super uncomfortable to be caught out like that. And last but perhaps the worst - they have the worst ever ad/promo vid. Just horrible. As much as it looks so yucky/vomit inducing for the video part, it's much worse it has an infuriating music loop, very short, repetitive and INCREDIBLY ANNOYING AND INFURIATING! C'mon! And it plays on the loop outside, so if you are a smoker and venture outside for a cigarette, you will hear that loop about 30 times. Some people just have no common sense and they feel it could attract new clients. For me it's exactly the opposite - I can't go back there because of that atrocity.

Location is superb. Close to so many restaurants and supermarkets, which one would want (minibar is empty aside from overpriced 2 bottles of water) and no way to buy any drinks but from a supermarket, which often closes early, so be prepared or pay a lot for room service. Great staff, just superb. Maybe not so much for treatments/spa etc - most didn't speak any advertised languages or had very basic knowledge of English. Excellent food, for breakfast and dinner included in the price. Tbf, i wanted more of a Michelin star foods, but fwiw - it was almost there, given it's a buffet, it was very decent. I thought there was an option to buy dinner outside of buffet menu, for extra money - wasn't the case, so no goose or fois gras 🫩 What would have massively helped, would be knowing daily menu variations. Some days I'd have preferred to go eat elsewhere, just because I wanted to try some other/specific dishes. Having said that, some days the choice was superb. Still didn't catch a goulash there, in my 5 days. Luckily i had it for lunch from other places. Did manage to try zander and carp, very good, but not caught any geese products. The food in some cases would be considered way too salty, by western standards, but lucky for me, i only ate a few things at breakfast that verged on the inedible (tiny bakon scraps) and no british style sausages at all. Plenty of vegy salads or individual veg based stuff - exactly the things i love with my food. Staff of the hotel, reception and the restaurant were superb! I've given a lot of tips, just cause they deserved it. Perhaps not so much at the Platan (sp) bar, they didn't even acknowledge any (generous) tips, so one feels bad to have even tried. Wonderful Mai Tai though!

The parrot living in the tiny cage by the bar was very sad to see. I don't know why they keep a wild animal trapped in a tiny pen and alone all day.

We came here for a night as a stop just to relax, the pool area is really awesome. Outdoor pool with nice water and a lot of whirlpool zones an biiig indoor pool to swim. The sauna was a dissapointment, because it was one of the points to book here, but all of the zone is a no swimsuit one, not divided by men/women. At least you can keep your towel on. I think this should not be mandatory as I saw even in Finland, or give a different zone for nudists. Rooms are decent size, but a bit outdated, most of the visitors are seniors for their medical treatments. We had half board, dinner and breakfast, drinks not included, we only had a welcome drink at the bar at the reception. Large offers of food for everyone, prices a bit high for cocktails. We paid 218 euros for the night for the above-mentioned, but for me it was not worth it (parking was also not included). Regarding the location, you only come here to stay at the resort or to go by car, Balaton is about 12 km away.

Having to pay for water and parking. No water is given for free, either when coming into the room / restaurant. Very disappointing. No parking is available (almost) around the hotel area

I have previously left a rave review for this hotel...and I haven't changed my mind now I have visited again. This time I stayed in a deluxe room and had a course of Heviz treatments.. Still highly recommended and I plan to return

The extra paid car park is kinda surprising, I would expect that in the price. Well, you cannot have everything.

The hotel is really nice, great breakfast and dinners. Spa and massage are very good. Good vine selection.
