How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

It seems that the apartment is close to train station, we heard trains coming and going which woke us a couple of times.
Everything is as is on photos. Conveniently close location to airport. Free parking was of great value.

Nothing. We were satisfied it.
The accommodation was spacious, cozy, and comfortable. We really appreciated the thoughtful gesture of turning on the air conditioning in advance so that the room was pleasantly cool when we arrived. I liked the attic-like cozy atmosphere, and the bed was very comfortable. It was also great to have parking available. Although the sound of the tram could be heard a little, it added a charming and homely touch.

A better cooker will match the high quality of the accommodation
High quality accommodation run by very professional host in a residential neighbourhood. Everything was nice, clean and well decorated. Budapest central is around 35 minutes by public transport. There is a Lidl nearby. Tram stops just outside of the accommodation. I enjoyed my 3 nights stay. A big thanks to the management for their great service. Highly recommended.

My only issue was the telly, which I was unable to find any hungarian channel so must watch netflix or other net related channel.
The property is absolute perfect for any single or couple travellers.

Everything fine apart the telly. Unfortunately I did not understand how to watch just a basic hungarian chanels, so that cause some uncomfort feelings, but not a big deal.
Perfect size for single person or even a couple.the aircondition working very well, tha flat was clean and tidy, the kitchen has everything what you need.

Verry good choose, everything new and clean in the appartment, parking place, close to Lidl(200m), local transportation just în front. The owner answers verry quikly, he even offered to come and rezolve our quest. Verry pleased with the stay!

Noisy when the tram passes by ( but they dont drive the whole night so its not very noticable), no window or ventilation in the bathroom. Very flat pillows.
Self check in and check out. Dog park, store and a tram/bus station across the street. The apartmant is very cozy, comfortable, warm and very clean. Everything you need is in the apartmant.

A bit noisy street especially due to the tramway.
From the windows, You can directly check your car standing in the parking lot on the opposite side of the street.

Nothing. It was amazing!
I travel a lot and it doesn't happen often to say that I found a gem but this flat was a GEM! The owner needs to make proper photos because it looks beter than at them. We arrived around 1:30 in the night and my first impression was that I was going to sleep in the basement but when we entered in it, it was WOW! Cool, cleen, comfortable and it even had a nice balcony with a table and 2 chair. The temperatures were very high but the flat was nice and cool. The bus and the tram stop are right infront of the building and there is a Lidl supermarket literaly on 300 meters. Good wi-fi and proper kitchen corner with everything you need.

The location of the apartment was near the tramway station and drivers were so fast in the night then they stopped suddenly because of the traffic light under the window.
The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Everything was good except the location.

It was clean and comfy and the smell was excellent. Everything smelled nice. And they offered to give us bowls for the dog, which was great. Overall a great experience.
