In my first night I found my bed a bit dirty however the issue was quickly solved and they changed my room.

-the rooms were a bit tiny so you have to put your backpack in the lockers. My backpack fitted in but it could be a problem with normal luggage. -Apparently also (supervised, teenage(?)) kids during school trips sleeps here too. Not a bad thing per se but just nothing I‘ve seen in hostels before. They had their own dorm/room I guess. I’ve just seen them in the common area.

Everything is clean. security is super high, you need to use you card 3-4 time to get to your room. The staff is helpful and do organize some evening events to socialize. Plenty (Gender separated) toilets and showers. When you are in the women only rooms you can access the woman’s bathroom area directly from your room.

It was a short stay, so I couldn't make the most of all the hostel's offers, but it is a very good way to socialise if you're travelling solo or with friends. It is very well located and there are supermarkets, restaurants and bus and tram stops a few minutes by foot. Rayen in reception was extremely friendly and nice, and I really appreciated it as a solo traveller. Soroush was very nice and helpful in the morning, too. I will definitely come back if I ever travel to Budapest again.

Would be even better with some sort of room spray available, or other method to have fresh air in the rooms. My shared bunk bed room had a very strong smell due to the smelly shoes of fellow travelers, and the windows didn't open far enough to let enough fresh air in to compensate

the toxic artificial scent that permeates the entire lobby ! I had to hold my breath. Its the only negative experience staying there.

Card system for locker. The design of the room where you are only facing your locker and not your roommate. The bunk beds were huge and very well made with double curtains and ledge for putting small items. Spacious and good air con. Good kitchen.

My stay at Maverick Central Market Hostel was excellent. The place is clean, the location is perfect, and the atmosphere is very comfortable. I especially want to thank Luis, who was extremely helpful and even provided me with a lock for the locker so I could keep my belongings safe. Great service and a really enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

The staff were so friendly and helpful! One of the members at reception spent 5-10 minutes helping me go through a map of budapest and point out all the best amenities in the area. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were really clean too - plus lockers were keycard activated so no need to use a padlock :)

Cleaners come into your room even when nobody's checking out. The floor doesnt have to be vacuumed every day guys.

Pretty solid bunks (custom made, so you dont get woken up every time someone tosses or turns), rooms are indeed pretty soundproof. Bunks have shelves and a light. Nice lockerspace. Kitchens are cool, nice rooftop space.

Minor things, the bed was squeaking and the upper bed only had a metal rod as protection from falling and it wasn't fully fixed (hence I asked for the lower bed). But as mentioned, it's minor, this is an exceptional hostel, well-thought through, female only rooms, etc.

24 hrs reception, smooth check-in, I could swap my bed for a lower one, hooks, curtain around the bed, shower gel in the shower, free towel, AC, quiet (considerate roommates, yay), good location. Plastic room card to open doors, in some room also for the luggage storage.

The hostel is very close to the center and a lot of restaurants around. The staff were really nice and helpful as well.

Got a private room and honestly had an incredible stay. Location is pretty central. There’s a spar just a block away and plenty of scooters to make your way to the center of town. Rooms were spacious and clean. They even offer turndown services on request. What sets this facility apart is the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful. Suzy, one of the girls at the reception went out of her way to cancel an airport shuttle for me at 2 in morning. Definitely recommend staying here.

Room AC is weak, even though the AC at the bar is a bit too cold. No free slippers. Laundry has to be paid by cash and really expensive, though there is a nearby laundromat.

Very social. They organize events every day for guests. They clean daily. You can cook there. There is a rooftop with a pretty nice view. Good location, near everything.
