The downside is that the building is of an older, salon-style type, with ceilings over 4 meters high, and the heating is not sufficient to fully warm up the room. We had to use a wall heater that is included in the price, but even that couldn’t fully heat the space. Because of that, I think this isn't very good option if you want to stay at Budapest in the very cold months. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower is very weak. WiFi didn’t work in our room (No10); we couldn’t find the accommodation's network on our phones at all. We saw the hosts only when we first checked in; we didn’t see them again during our three-day stay. The shared kitchen isn't very clean.

The location of the accommodation is excellent if you want to escape the crowds and noise of the city center. The accommodation is located on a quiet street, and the bus stations are 3-5 mins away. The Pest side of Budapest is accessible via public transport, which is reliable and frequent, in just about 10 minutes. The property has a garden that I suppose looks beautiful in spring, but even in winter, it has a certain charm. The room is very clean, and the beds are very comfortable, and the entire accommodation is designed in a vintage style reminiscent of the last century, which gives it a charming touch. The room was furnished with a table, two chairs, two nightstands, a small fridge, a wall heater, and a large wardrobe. The bathroom is clean, not too big, but not small. There is a shared kitchen in the basement of the accommodation, equipped with a refrigerator, stove, coffee makers, kettle, sink, and a dining area.

All except the thorny bushes that hang out over the sidewalk that scratched my face twice. The walk from the gate to the door is required of everyone and these were at least 2 feet hanging over and ar danger I shared breakfast would be way of making it more inviting. Ok the charge for it, because it would take it from being a place to being a community.

Bathroom / shower could be resolved a little bit better, but it was not problematic. But if someone was talking in the corridor we could hear them, and it did wake up us once.

It was nice looking place to stay for our trip. It was really easy to get there, nice restaurant down at to corner. Staff was very friendly and explained everything to us.

The small fan was not enough to cool the room adequately, during a period of extreme heat in Budapest.. Except for arrival when I was given a key, I saw no one that worked at the property . So, couldn't report the fact that water kept coming up the drain in the floor when taking a shower.

The guest house was really charming and close to the river and centre of town which was within walking distance. Secure free parking was available to us. There was a really nice restaurant 4mins walking distance away. It was 6mins walking from both a gas station/grocery store.

We’re too lazy to grab a free coffee because the kitchen is in the lower ground floor and we stayed at the second floor so you have to take more steps to reach the kitchen. Not really a problem with us because we don’t cook our meals there anyway.

I love the vintage kitchen design. We made it sure to have a quick breakfast before we leave to complete our stay in there😂. The apartment is just 5-7 mins away from the transportation and is 15 mins away from the tourist spots in Budapest. The host is very helpful and cheerful. (Sorry I forgot her name🥲)

An improvement suggestion would be adding a desk in the room instead of the little table, which is still useful.

It's a clean accommodation with a nicely equipped shared kitchen, fast wifi and a superb garden, where you could hear birds singing while drinking your coffee.

The owners are friendly and nice. And the location is nice. We were walking from Kis Gellert Guesthouse to the Buda Castle about 20 minutes.
