It is a beautiful estate in the country, with century-old trees and in general well-preserved historical buildings. The rooms bear the name of the neighbouring mountains and are decorated with good taste, in the spirit if the historical heritage the hotel building stands for. Nevertheless, the necessary facilities in the rooms are not missing. The buffet breakfast is served in a beautiful saloon. Parking for guests is available on the perimeter of the estate

Beautiful castle hotel with big cozy guest room in a quite area. The castle garden is beautiful. Pet friendly, we appreciate a lot how well staff was treated our dogs. Free parking place. A guiding tour to visit the castle is included into the hotel accomodation price. Castle is chraming recommended to visit. Thank you Karolyi Castle hotel staff!

Very big castle, nice renovated and decorated, huge corridors, clean rooms, comfortable beds and quality products. The breakfast was very variated, good coffee and the most impressive thing for me, it was that entire building was well heated although outside is was very cold. I think this is crazy expensive, however the price per night is very convenient.

Main receptionist. I was asking her something at check out and she just turned around and started talking to another receptionist while I was still talking to her. Didn't even bother to apologize after or say excuse me need to urgently tell something to my colleague. Not a behaviour I would expect at a place like this.

Everything was great. Place is beautiful, breakfast excellent, dinner very tasty, cleaning and restaurant staff fantastic. Point down for main receptionist as her manners at check out we're not the best.

Property is very well maintained and clean, yet you could see that they are fighting with some traditional issues that are a result from period decorations. Not a big deal at all but chairs outside on the patio were wobbly :)

We had just one overnight in Karolyi Kasteli, and everything was excellent, staff highly professional, breakfast with champagne was my absolute favorite. In a moment you could really find yourself in past aristocratic times. Gardens are wonderful.

Maybe the lack of an elevator for luggages but its understandable due to the location. The TV was not working, maybe the batteries were old.

We stayed two night and during the first breakfast, most of the food was gone only an hour into serving. We made sure we arrived early the next morning.

Beautiful and scenic location with an arboretum and walking trails around the property. The castle has a quant charm and the newly renovated rooms are a balance of modern.

This is a stunning and unique property. It is absolutely beautiful, luxurious and relaxing. The dinner and breakfast we had were amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.

Not enough electric outlets in the room. Food at the half-board dinner not wonderful and too salty (especially the soup). At night, on the west side room I had. all night I heard a machine or generator softly running somewhere outside,

Elegant and beautifully-restored country estate. Fabulous gardens, including a clipped hedge formal garden in the courtyard. Friendly and interesting staff--including the family who owned the estate before the Communists confiscated it and turned it into an orphanage--and who got it back and manage it now. Public spaces are gorgeous, especially the floors: polished stone and terrazzo in the hallways and the wooden marquetry in the dining room. The room I had was big enough and furnished with period pieces or good reproductions.
