How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Air conditioning in the room but no remote to turn it on, when departing I believe a remote was available from reception. A note explaining this in the room would have helped. Breakfast was fairly limited in variety.
Helpful and friendly staff, underground parking and distance to the city centre.

But...the bed… oh the bed...well, let’s just say - not made for tall people. My partner and I are both quite tall, and squeezing into what was labeled a double bed felt like a nightly game of Tetris. If you're over 180 cm, expect your feet to hang off the edge and your limbs to be in a constant state of negotiation. Stretching before bed is highly recommended!
We had a nice stay overall – the hotel was clean, the location was great, and the staff were polite and helpful. The value for money is actually pretty good, so no major complaints there.

The air conditioner did work only in one selected mode. One unit is for an entire level and all the rooms have to use the same mode. There were some loud guests. The breakfast was simple and the variety was low.

Our room had no ventilation nor a kettle (so no possibility of a tea if the kitchen is closed), and the breakfast at the hotel was not the best. Those are the only cons I can find
The staff was great and gentile, everybody spoke english, and the rooms were overall clean and not old. ALso easily accessible by public transport. Honestly it is a good value for money!

I liked everything, how it was, decent hotel and this is what i was looking for.
The breakfast was simple, but good, no fancy food, but we were able to choose. The room was nice and cosy, our windows were facing the garden, no noise from the street :) On the other hand the water pipe was noisy in the evening i could hear when the neighbours used the bathroom. Location was good: was able to park 2 min from the hotel, as we went on the weekend, parking was free. The bus stop is 1 min away, very frequent.

The staff was a bit gumpy. The place is weared and smells of cigarettes. Photos do not tell the truth.20 euro deposit for air contitioning.
Good location near a nice garden with "dog playground". Hotel is a bit like "hotel for workers".. Smelly and weared but it is quiet and you may rest if uou have 20 euro cash for aircondition remote deposit. Still, there is some kind of cool mood in it. Like in some dark crime-romance drama.

The timers for lights in common areas have to be switched on. Printing was not readily available at at the time we required it was not.
The room and shower are clean but the furniture had stains. Public transport is nearby.

Really thin walls. Everytime someone on the upper level turned on water or flushed a toilet, we heard it. The breakfast was quite poor. There's was no vegetable except some sort of cabbage salat. Otherwise there were some cereals, eggs and salami.
Beds were comfortable and there was A/C. Also the receptionist was really nice.

Hotel was fine, I can recommend, room was spacious, clean and quiet, staff was helpful. Bus and tram stop within few minutes, Buda castle in walking distance. I appreciated parking in garage.

The hotel is old, but cozy. Breakfast is fine. They should take more care about cleaning. The shower is static, for a stay of 2~3 days it is fine.

Traffic is infernal in the area and the windows were good enough for filtering the noise but useless for the noise coming from the neighbor rooms or hallways. Breakfast was way below my expectations.
Really helpful personal at the reception desk. Great location for a night stay and having a couple of hours available for seeing the Danube before going to sleep.

Old hotel in Budapest. Not so far form the walking areas, but not the amongst the nearest too.
At least - there is some breakfast, if very hungry. The boy at the buffet is young, but he offers good willful service for the visitors.
