Its not that central and its on the third floor of the building. Plus the black dog wasnt there.

The staff. The dog. The cleanliness. The staff keeps cleaning the shower room and the bathroom so they are super clean. The sweep and mop the floor everyday too so the entire place is clean and fresh! Also they have a lift too!

Due to the central location you will need earplugs to sleep since there are emergency vehicles passing at least once an hour. This is the case for any place in central Budapest though.

The staff is amazing, very helpful and friendly. The location is central and near many transportation options. The guests are not the party types, or if at least there were they did not make much noise. There are enough showers and bathrooms, I never had to wait for them and they are always clean. The water pressure is also good which is rare for a Hostel as cheap as this one.

Just that 8 people in one room, from whom each person makes noise in the middle of night. Otherwise it would go well.

The hostel was extremely hot and humid, and with no proper ventilation, it became very uncomfortable — I was constantly sweating, even indoors. Although I was showering daily, the staff seemed inconsiderate and dismissive. Their body language came across as rude and judgmental, which made the experience somewhat unpleasant. The bathroom facilities were also not up to standard. The doors were in poor condition, and the handles and locks felt unstable, which left me feeling unsafe while using them. Overall, I expected a more welcoming and comfortable environment. Improvements in ventilation, staff professionalism, and basic maintenance are definitely needed.

The location is excellent — right next to the Octagon Metro station, making travel very convenient. The elevator is a nice bonus, especially in an old apartment building. The hostel itself is situated in a charming, historic building close to many local attractions.

The place seems to have been at one point a large apartment that was converted with bunk beds, so it has only two toilets which is not a lot. It also suffers from a very typical issue these days where a hostel for travellers becomes a pension for migrant workers, who seemed to be fine mostly indians, but whilst talking to them they mentioned to "stay away from the ones that speak hindi since they are very dangerous people" which means another lovely hostel is at risk of becoming a slum for shady people

location is great, very central, close to everything. Staff was lovely. Price is affordable and clearly the place was made with love.

The beds weren't the comfiest, but otherwise it was well

They dry the linen and sheets in the middle of the dorm room which makes it very crowded, and cold when the windows are open. Avoid bed 9.If you can , it's actually two collapsed mattresses instead of one!
