The water kettle was full of scale, we can not drick the water boiled with the kettle, there is no way to clean up them

There is no elevator since it is a very old house. This was not a problem for us but maybe good to know for some travellers.

Such a wonderful little place, a hidden gem. One block from the city centre in a beautiful old house with modern amenities. We liked everything, from the garden to the clean big rooms and the excellent breakfast. I highly recommend this place for a stay in Sopron.

There was no mosquito screen on the windows. There was no door or divider between the rooms. The room was bright in the night from the light of the hallway.

The breakfast team experienced stress and we overheard the communication. No wine in the room.

Centrally located, nice room! The breakfast was good but no sweets. Parking possibilities were not clear, but was quickly answered.

Air conditioning is totally unsuitable for 4 star rating. Dining room has a strong musty smell, which is probably the reason the tables are so high and chairs so low that it is too uncomfortable to sit in the unpleasant odour. Food was really nice so such a shame about odour and unfriendly dining furniture.

Kristina/Host/Owner was particularly helpful. Addressed as best she could my two issues. Central location on such a lovely street was main appeal. The property is very pleasant inside and outside on first impression. Bed was comfy, so I slept really well.

The property has a love;y character, that has been exceedingly well restored. Keeping traditional details and materials visible whilst at the same time presenting a modern, clean and inviting space. The wine cellar, lounge area, where you can meet with friends, drink wines that they sell and eat some finger food snacks whilst watch a movie playing cards is a real jewel or a feature of the hotel. The small enclosed sun trap patio area is an ideal location for that first contemplative coffee. Breakfast was tasty, fresh with a good variety of choices available. Well done….

The mattress was quite old so it felt a bit like laying in an armchair. That could be improved with a replacement. Also the room smelled a bit damp and it was humid, the vent in the bathroom was struggling to vent it all out.

Everything was great.

Situated a very short distance walk from the old town in a beautifully renovated old building, Florand Rooms and wine was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The host communicated well giving us instructions for how to enter after hours and the parking was available a few steps from the front door. Breakfast was in the old vaulted cellar and a good variety of dishes were available. A lovely place to stay in Sopron!

Nice small hotel within 2 minutes walk of the main square in Sopron. Large and very clean room, comfortable bed, very good buffet breakfast. We will certainly stay here again.

Windows blinder - The coffee machine is unplugged and either moves it to the other table - Teabags are there but don't know where to get the hot water - Hard to find parking space and parking machines accept only local currency coins, or pay separately for the dedicated parking space of the facility.

This little gem was a surprise in every way. Tucked away on a little side road, it was an easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The front desk was cheerful and helpful, the rooms spacious and comfortable. This was a great place to stay overnight
