How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewIt’s a nice place near the forest in a small countryside city the food at the hotel was absolutely incredible. Delicious was good not only for me but also for one-year-old baby. Very good playground near the hotel and in the hotel.
We had an absolutely terrible situation at the spa complex. I went there in the morning with my baby, and someone from the staff came and told me in a rude manner that I can’t be with my baby there she switch off the sauna and told me to go out. I was on the way to cry and went to manager. They told me by the rules kids can’t go to the sauna Out of age 16, which was absolutely new for me. She kicked out me with a baby from the spa complex. I was crying and all that day. I felt very bad because of it. I didn’t find any information about these rules at the hotel.

According to our house rules, children under the age of 16 are not allowed in the sauna area. You entered the sauna, which operates at 80–85 °C, with a one-year-old child. Our colleague informed you that children are not permitted in the sauna, and when this request was not respected, they turned off the sauna. This action was not taken due to a violation of the house rules, but rather out of concern for the child’s safety. We regret that you disagree with the hotel’s regulations. The hotel is a spa hotel, in a small village in Hungary. Overall was nice but the vibe was a nursery home kind of ...and lots of kids. So many elderly people and lots of kids...for us wasn't really a vibe for vacation. Dinner was included but wasn't very good. The pool was full and loud, we didn't bother to go.

The employees were super nice, the room was very comfy, I enjoyed the sauna and the pools, the garden is cute and has very nice chairs to relax and read a book. The breakfast buffet was really good and the dinner even better. I absolutely recommand this place for a chill time. It was also super quiet even though there were many other guests. Perfect!!!

We were a bit disappointed about the lack of vegeterian dishes during dinner time. Of course there were veggies, but there were no vegeterian protein sources to secure healthy diet for all guests. Chefs should consider at least one veggie protein per evening - tofu, lentils, chilli (without meat), tempeh etc

Too many people during meals : breakfast or dinner - very noisy and not really restful time as we were eating. There is a beautiful terrace & park where you can eat but then mosquitoes decided to come out ;( you are surrounded by people all the time. The same at the pool area... If you don't mind to be with people all the time this is your place. We were looking for a relaxing week-end ;(

Verified reviewIt was very easy to get to the hotel. We were able to come from Vienna very easily by public transport. The hotel has a wonderful view and location right in the forest. Hotel staff were polite and helpful. The hotel was new and nice. The balcony was large and overlooked the beautiful forest view. Also the food we got from the snack bar was very good. The buffet was also good but could have been better. I think the price-performance balance is very good. I would definitely like to come again.
There were small hairs on the sheets. Even though we told them, they were forgotten and not changed. Also, the pool was not completely clean. There was dirt on the edges of the pool. The large pillow was too high and uncomfortable. We had to sleep with a smaller size pillow.
