The location was so close to our walking tour of the city - very central to everything. After 2 weeks in Europe, and one meal at a Michellin star restaurant, this was the next best meal ever!!! The duck was outstanding!!! We ate on a Viking ship with really good meals and many good restaurants, but our entire dinner here was outstanding, plus the little dining area was precious. We wish we could have stayed longer and would recommend this charming boutique hotel to anyone wanting a true Eger/Hungarian experience!

HungaryThe spa is a bit basic. Don't book this hotel for a wellness weekend, just take the spa amenities as an extra.
The food was amazing, 3 course selection from a small menu changing every evening. With only 14 or so rooms the hotel is a nice and quiet retreat on walking distance from the city center. There's also a lovely garden for some reading. Staff were all very friendly as well.

The villa is fantastic, well equipped, well maintained and well cleaned. The restaurant offers an unforgettable experience where the food is not only very delicious but also well presented.

SwedenI’m almost always satisfied with the hotels where I stay, but this was really one of a bad kind. I have never been to Hungary before so maybe the standard general is lower, I don’t know. In this hotel everything is very dark, kind of a forgotten building without lights. When you enter the hotel the lobby is dark and with no lights and the personal in the reception is not welcoming you at all, it is like you are disturbing them. The room was not a nice feeling at all, curtains around all walls, you did not know if there even is a window, so strange. The room smelled really bad and the breakfast was not good at all, you couldn’t find something to eat, the coffee was also undrinkable.

SlovakiaRoom not as advertised. Room was suppose to have own bath but it didnt. When I asked about it I was told that not all rooms have bath but they are advertised the same. that shouldnt be like that. there are not too many rooms in the property. it cant be so difficult to list them individually. Also balconny was quite sterile. empty with just 2 sunbeds. not using its potential. you just dont want to stay there while it could have been nice if properlly equiped.
Looking good. Spacious rooms. Great food.

ChinaPhotos are totally misleading! Room and facilities are so wearout and poor. Bed and pillows are not comfortable. All furnitures looks old, horrable sofas dont even want to sit on them. All indoor areas are really dark. Dinner tables were presetted and staff refused our request to move to the garden area. Found a dead bird on the balcony!!!Booked 2 nites but run away after the first night… The front deck staff asked why? It is unbearable and dont you aware?!! Get a reno and total upgrade!
