This is 2 star hotel, so the expectations should be limited, however the most important promise is fulfilled, quite room, comfortable bed, guarded parking, AC, and clean space.

Minor - bathroom hand basin without a plug - may be a purpose for this but does seem to result in waste of water. Also hole cut in woodwork next to bed for access to electric outlets mismatched - made use impossible with a non EU plug converter - however other accessible but less convenient outlets available.

Room with a peasant external view. Located slightly away from the main part of town and quiet. Great way to train hospitality staff (part of University Eszterhazy).

The sound of the building breathing (the cold temperature outside and the hot inside made the building expand, so you could hear the windows and wood moving).

Very kind stuff, breakfast was exactly as I wanted to be (simple and lovely), the location was perfect for me because it was close to the train station (12 minutes walk) and close to the city center (5 minutes walk). The room was regular hotel room, very clean, had clean towels and hot water.

Location in an easy walk into town, the Castle and Dobo Ter. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. The Strand is also very close. The suite is definitely a bonus if staying more than one night. Breakfast quite basic with a few hot and cold items typically continental and was ok. It is a training hotel and staff are very helpful. Pizza shop across the road was lovely.

Hungary is a great country for soft fruit and at the time I visited it was much in evidence how cheap and plentiful it was. Why was it not served at breakfast?

It felt like a proper hotel although it covers a couple of floors of an office building and the reception is not on the ground floor. My room was comfortable, the breakfast adequate.

Parking was a bit of annoyance. There are only a few parking spaces for the hotel, and it was full at our arrival. All surrounding streets are paid parking. The meter swallowed our money without giving a ticket first, so we had to pay twice. That's not the hotel's fault, but I would recommend organising parking before arrival.

The staff is very polite and helpful. The castle was very close, walking distance everything you need. Highly recommended.

Limited hotel parking and parking out front was by-the-hour from 8am (though there's a free parking lot 500m away).

Great location near the old town. Modern, clean rooms with comfortable bedding. The hotel is a lot nicer than you'd guess from the entrance to its Communist-era building, which belongs to the local university.

A very simple breakfast and awful coffee 😁

Great location, right beside the baths and old town. Clean, nice, the staff is very friendly. The heating in January has been quite enough.
