The rooms are not very spacious, but that would be ok if there were enough possibilities to hang wet clothes and towels. After all day on the beach, you need to dry your things, and half of the rooms are without a balcony, so you really need to improvise. In the room is a mini fridge, shampoo, and some more amenities, but no kettle. I have asked for one and got it on the same day, but it would be easier to have it in the room. Another chapter is bed. Many people wrote how comfy the beds are. For me, it was too soft, and I barely slept for 4 nights. I have received a harder topper, but it still wasn't enough. So, for people who prefer harder mattresses, be warned you won't get it here. Restaurant - the breakfast buffet was OK , you can find all standard meals like cold cuts, scrambled eggs, sausage, vegetables, or yoghurt and cereals The dinner courses contained too many vegetarian and fancy options, leaving you clueless what you are getting. We would be happier with more basic tastes and recipes. Traditional hungarian foods are rather marginally served. But cakes for dessert are yummy ;o) Waiting times for drinks (getting to order and delivery of drinks) are rather long, something to be improved . Waiting lines at the food buffet can be long. It's best to be early for breakfast and late for dinner. The staff does not regulate the number of guests at dinner so it can get overcrowded. Beach grill : The menu cards you can find online are not up to date. All the meals have a fancy twist, which is a downside. Especially as this is your only option for lunch unless you want to leave the hotel area. There is cold strawberry soup, but no goulash soup or simple meat soup...

This hotel is really full of activities for kids, but also adults. Even though the rooms and whole hotel are not newly built, everything works and is clean. Beautiful area outside, really big and full of trees and shadow. Beach is well kept, clean, with plenty of sunbeds. There are also many spots for sun lovers, but you can easily hide in shadow. Small souvenir shop near the reception (with normal prices) and grocery shop on the area by the entrance. Very kind and helpful staff everywhere you go, if at the reception, spa area, bars, restaurants or housekeepers. Great quiet location right next to ferry, should you want to take a trip. Evening music/dance programmes lasted till 23:00, so your sleep was not bothered. Do not miss the fire-tamer show. It was awesome !

Food average at maximum, choice was wide on the first look, but quality of the food was very average, both in hotel restaurant as well as a la carte restaurants at beach. No tragedy, but definitely very easy area for improvement.

Great location, very nice neibourhood, big area to rest, nice lake with enough space for everyone, you can find always space for playing sport, but also resting.

The food was pretty bad. Lots of options for the buffet, but very poorly executed.

The strand was amazing, we really enjoyed it. We also loved the live music. We saw a kids talent show that was very emotional and sweet.

Nothing really - we were happy with everything.

We loved the large, peaceful territory and the spa complex - especially since access was included in the price. The breakfast and dinner buffets were tasty and varied. Our 5-year-old had a fantastic time in the pool, and the jacuzzi helped the adults truly relax.

Slightly overcrowded , in food hall and spa. Waitress and waiters not the friendliest, bit hit or miss. Guests don’t seem to like children in the pool.

Bar could be better. Better lighting around the beach. Time intervals for people in jacuzzi (for eg. we came to jacuzzi at 18:00 and we had to wait till 19:00 for the jacuzzi to be vacated ps. Same two groups were there for 1hour

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Club Tihany! The location is absolutely stunning—right on the shores of Lake Balaton with beautiful views and direct access to a private beach. The wellness center and pools were a real treat, and there were plenty of fun activities for the whole family. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the buffet offered a great variety of tasty Hungarian and international dishes. Perfect place for a relaxing and active holiday. We’ll definitely be coming back!

I didn’t like the staff, mainly because as a tourist, you can’t really communicate with them since they don’t understand English or German. When you ask something, they seem confused, and some are even quite rude just because you’re asking for help. That really bothered me, because they should try to be a bit more accommodating.

I really liked the location because Lake Balaton is very beautiful and gives the feeling of being by the sea. The hotel has a good location, the rooms are well maintained, and everything is easily accessible. The pools are well kept, especially the new one, but unfortunately the water is cold.

Staff could let you into breakfast a little early for cold cereals, drinks whilst waiting for cooked items to be ready. Unfortunately they watch the clock and there’s a queue for anglers keen to get to the bank.

Great location for a fishing competition IBCC biggest in the world, hotel is great for its spa and relaxing setting.
