How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

We were kept awake the first night as the air-conditioning was very noisy. We didn't want to switch it off because we felt we needed it on. We discovered next morning that the fan was on setting 2 ( out of 3) , and when we turned it down to 1, we could barely hear it and slept soundly the next night! Only omission for me at breakfast was decaff coffee.
Excellent central location - so close to all the city centre sights and transport ( bus ) from / back to the airport. The room was perfectly adequate, not huge, but very comfortable beds. The breakfasts were very good, with lots of choice. The potato cakes were absolutely delicious! We felt the hotel was very well priced compared to other places we have stayed.

Noise outside during the night but i would stay again because we loved the location and hotel. Also mattress was a little hard.
Its in a fantastic location, right in the centre.

AC good but a bit noisy and breakfast was OK but most of the hot items were cold apart from the sausages and scrambled egg - cold beans are too much to stomach first thing in the morning lol

Noise from local bar across road. But we slept well due to earplugs provided. It really only concerned us 1 night. Very peaceful every other night
Excellent location, friendly service and spotless clean. Great for access to metro, centre of city sights. From 12pm to 7pm every day, free coffee, juices during hot weather. Great coffee. Buffet breakfast 😋 👌

Honestly, everything met or even exceeded my expectations, so I have no complaints.
I truly enjoyed my stay. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained, and the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of the city, just a short walk to the main attractions and the airport shuttle. The breakfast was a real highlight: delicious, fresh, and with plenty of variety to choose from

Elevators were small and slow; one day the staff couldn't find the taxi form; another time they had trouble actually figuring out how to call one. They finally gave me wrong numbers to call myself. Staff were nice but not as knowledgeable as they could have been
Wonderful breakfast; the balcony was lovely; room was fairly spacious and comfy with chairs for sitting. The bed side lights were very usefull

Air con was a little weak for my taste. We came in a heatwave and was still a bit warm for me even on full blast . Still comfortable enough and not worth a mark off!
Clean, modern, great location, big choice at breakfast for no extra money, plus teas and coffees etc all day in dining room. Fantastic value for the standard and the perfect location. Highly recommend.

The pillows are big, which is good but one of ours was too soft and difficult to sleep comfortable with it.

Highly recommend this hotel. Staff were very helpful and so welcoming. The hotel and all services were fantastic. Very close to all the places to visit.
