Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. SlovakiaGreat accommodation, clean and cozy, beautiful terrace, clean and spacious bathroom. The owner, Kristián, is a very accommodating and kind man. I really can't fault anything; the accommodation exceeded my expectations. If I visit Balaton again, I will definitely contact him. I must also share a situation I witnessed. Kristián had a client who was late and not responding to his messages. He waited for him at the accommodation until midnight. Around three in the morning, I woke up to the sound of parking cars and saw two families who had arrived late because their flight from Israel was delayed. We started talking, and they were wondering what to do. I suggested they call the owner, and he would come to them. Kristián arrived within ten minutes, despite being woken up at three in the morning, and handled everything with a smile and professionalism, ensuring the clients were accommodated. Accommodation is not just about cleanliness and amenities, but also about the attitude of the owner. Kristián's approach is professional and deserves great thanks. United StatesI liked having a kitchen so I could cook some meals. The location is super convenient in regards to getting to the train station from which I could take a train to Budapest which costs hardly anything at all. It was also nice to have a parking spot behind the building, although street parking was also readily available. But that is probably only the case in the winter when there is nearly no tourism around the lake.

United KingdomCheck in / Arrival Despite confirming our arrival time twice - during booking and after message received from the property- no staff member was around. after few calls and 10 min wait at the entrance gate outside the manager called back and remotely opened the gate to let us in - we never met any staff member during our stay. There is a sign at the entrance stating Open / Reception 8-22h but nobody was there at 18:15.
