Great location, beautiful park around the property. They offered me a room in the castle so I don't know what the villa is like inside. I got a big spacious room. The spa is small but has some options, I'm not big on spa so it was enough for me. Food was simple but delicious. Will definitely be my new place to go when I need some rest :)

There's little to see in the direct area, so we drove to Balaton. Only one receptionist really spoke English; with the rest, we got by with basic German/Russian. If you are staying at the mansion, you have to walk to the pools in the castle, which is fine in the summer but it would be a bit cold in the winter

We visited during the low season, so we were moved to the castle. We can't speak of the rooms in the mansion, but the rooms in the castle were great, with an old-time feel, as is right for a castle. Everything was clean, the food was good and the spa was not too busy. I would come again.

One of the bathroom light bulbs burned out late in the evening, so we had to use the room light for the bathroom. Since it was late, we didn't want to bother, we informed the reception in the morning, and it was fixed within minutes. It wasn’t a major issue and not the hotel’s fault.

Although I originally booked Kúria next to Batthyány Castle Hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the transfer to Batthyány Castle itself. The Batthyány Castle Hotel has beautiful, park-like grounds, creating a relaxing environment. The hotel is a beautifully renovated castle, with carefully chosen furniture, wallpaper, and lamps that blend historical charm with modern comfort. The wellness area features a small pool, jacuzzi, and sauna, with standout outdoor log saunas—aroma, himalayan salt, and finnish. The staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating, always meeting our requests with a smile. Our heartfelt thanks to the chef and kitchen staff for their exceptional culinary skills; the food was very delicious with diverse breakfast and dinner options. We truly enjoyed our stay!

This was the second time we visited and it was even better than the first. The pool was an excellent company to the summer heat, there are also exercising programmes which make it even more fun and there are saunas close to it as well. The wellness is also very relaxing. The food at the diner was very tasty with a good variety.

We were half board and the food for both the evening meal and the breakfast were excellent quality. I was dubious about a buffet for dinner but it really was excellent. The spa / wellness facilities were also unexpected and a treat after our travel.

The room and the bathroom were spacious. The available pools were great. The place was not crowded at all which was a huge plus so it felt like we were all alone even though there were a number of people there at the same time. We really enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to go back!

Love the outdoor facilities, especially for children. Mini golf, playground area, plenty of room to run around for children, large outdoor swimming pool, and the Kuria has a children's friendly heated pool. There is also indoor pool, but in summer, much prefer to be outdoors. Pools were very clean. Our daughter in law is totally vegan, and the chef, Nagy Jozsef, prepared a beautiful VEGAN meal without any hesitation :) My husband also had his 60th birthday and they prepared the table without even asking them to do so. They went out of their way to make it very pleasant.

The venue is placed in a beautiful rural area close to Heviz and Lake Balaton. There is a beautiful park and play ground for kids as well as pool and golf facilities.

Dinners were very disappointing as were not allowed to have dinner in the main dinning room, therefore, we missed out on the extra's, for example, croutons with soups, choices of mains and desserts, and no ice-cream. Wait staff were satisfactory. On our first night the waiter actually argued back with me regarding outdoor cushions on the outdoor furniture. And also had an issue with the bottle of champagne I ordered, I actually had to ask for a cooler. May sound minor, but being in the hospitality industry for many years, you are there to please the customer. The outdoor facilities are a little run down and could do with an overhaul/maintenance/update.

The outdoor pool and the rooms were are good size!

The dinner service. We were not able to have dinner in the main dinning area due to an apparent large booking on our first night. We did notice that there were some foods served in the main dinning area which were not served to us including ice cream and croutons for the soups, even though we paid the same as all the other guests who dined in the main dinning area. Some of the staff were not too keen on serving us and accommodating our needs.

We enjoyed the outdoor garden space although the mini golf area could do with some updating and maintenance. The outdoor pool was nice and clean.
