Unable to use rooftop bar twice for minor issues. Seemed excessive. Bathroom door in my room 307 didn't close properly. Reported but not fixed. Lighting is weird. Not enough light for makeup. Looked ok and found to be patchy when outside!

Booked 2 rooms for 2 adults and 2 teens. Perfect location. Close to everything. Many restaurants and cafes outside. Don't need breakfast in the hotel. Had a standard room, view is ok but not important for me as hardly in the room. Beds very comfy. Room clean. Reception staff very hospitalable. Bence in the rooftop bar very friendly. But a couple of times we were turned away before 11pm due to issues related to lack of ice. We only wanted wine which was disappointing. Would definitely book again due to location. Its just so perfect and cheap (£300 per room for 4 nights) during peak season. So much to see and experience. Highly recommend Budapest, exceeded all our expectations.

Honestly, I cannot think of anything negative to mention – everything met or exceeded my expectations.

I had a wonderful stay at this accommodation. The location could not have been better – right in the heart of the city centre, with shops, restaurants, and major sights just a short walk away. Despite being so central, the room was quiet and relaxing, which was a big plus. The beds were extremely comfortable, with good quality mattresses and linens, so I slept really well every night. Breakfast was one of the highlights of my stay – it offered a wide selection to suit every taste. There were plenty of fresh options such as fruit, yoghurts, and pastries, as well as hot dishes like scrambled eggs, sausages, and even pancakes. Everything was fresh, tasty, and well presented, and the dining area had a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, the combination of the perfect location, cosy rooms, and superb breakfast made my stay thoroughly enjoyable. I would happily recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

The plug in the bath didn’t work properly so water would slowly drain which meant it took a long time to run and you had to be quick once in there.

Air con was amazing and much needed! Bed was very comfortable, room was nice and a good size, lobby and bar were nice areas to hang out. There was fresh lemon water available and a drink provided on check out. Overall it was great.

Location was excellent, good link to major metro station and bus stop from airport. Plenty of restaurants and fast food open late at night, busy in the evening so perfect for solo travellers

Hotel feels brand new Bedroom 213 with a balcony is facing the backyard. Very quiet even though your are in the middle of the city. A small fridge in the room and instant coffe/tea provided If we go back to Budapest we will stay here again

Staying at the Barcelo Hotel in Budapest was a nice experience.
