Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ChinaThe pillows on the bed seem to be unusual in that they don't support the neck. If you don't have a good cervical spine, it is recommended to ask for a pillow or fold this pillow before sleeping. Otherwise, you may experience a sore neck in the morning. Although this hotel is near a bus stop, the main bus line is only 7, so if you need to go to some attractions, you may need to change buses or go to the tram stop which is about 15 minutes walk. Otherwise you need to pay 900HUF for a single transportation fee if you don't want to risk skipping the ticket. Room prices were relatively a bit high when I booked my stay. I must admit the price is reasonable, just a little (only a little of course) expensive for me. So I think I will still consider this hotel first when I plan my next trip to Budapest.
The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, very close to the bus stop (about 3 minutes walk) With a prominent signboard, you don't need to look for it, just take a look and you will know where you will rest for the night! The rooms are very clean and it's reasonable to assume that the hosts really take care of the rooms as part of their own house The landlady is very friendly and kind. Knows multiple languages and can respond quickly to needs (including quick replies to messages from booking). Breakfast was sufficient for me and my friend. We weren't sure what a standard Hungarian breakfast was like, but I think it was perfectly adequate for an early morning meal. It's just that for me personally, I would have preferred something hot, but it was basically cold except for the hot tea (but that's not a demerit, it's entirely out of my personal preference) but by all means try the jam, I have a feeling that it was most likely made by the landlady herself. Inside the room there is a detailed description of the hotel's general services, so there is no “misuse of paid services without knowing it”.

CroatiaThe most ideal aspect of this hotel is it's proximity to various public transportation hubs, most notably the Kelenfold bus station. The area is quiet, and the staff were very friendly & welcoming. The breakfast was great, and the room was very clean.

SloveniaWe had a pleasant stay in a nice room, tasty homemade breakfast and very friendly host. Free parking on a quiet residential street. The city centre is easily reachable by bus (bus stop 3 minutes away on foot). Castle hill is easily reachable by tram (cca 8 minutes away on foot). The host recomended an excellent restaurant nearby.

Czech RepublicThe accommodation is located in a quiet part of Budapest. The nearest bus stop is just 2 minutes of walk, tram is under 10 minutes. Room size and equipment met our expectations. I must highlight the quality and tasty breakfasts prepared by the owner. Madam (the owner) is very kind and helpful. Everything was really very pleasant, I can only recommend this place.

Czech RepublicChallenging beautiful setting and yard! The rooms are clean! Breakfast with lots of homemade flavors! The host is very hospitable and helpful. The breakfast is better than in a multi-star hotel. The table has everything a passer-by or someone who wants to relax might need. Those who stay here receive attention and a generous breakfast. The location is very convenient, 7 km to the center, but there is a bus stop a few meters away and you can use the bus to get to the metro. Great communication with the landlady, parking on the street without any problems If I need accommodation in Budapest in the future, I will only go here

CroatiaThere were no showering accessories in the bathroom (shower gel, hairdryer, shampoo), and when you buy your own -there is no place to put it in the shower. The breakfast is in the lobby (house entrance) under the stairs for the upper floors, it would be nicer if it was in a separated dining room/area. There were not enough bowls, plates during breakfast so we had to give up on trying some of the home made food because we had no where to put it in.
This is a 4 bedroom bed and breakfast on the suburbs of Budapest with 2 rooms on each floor. Owners are very kind and helpful. Very clean. Available parking on the street Great terrace for anyone who is a smoker. Good food for breakfast offering a few salty and a few sweet food options. Good value for money.
