we arrived at midnight, the receptionist was very nice and gave us the option of a late check out (11am instead of 10am). there is plenty of parking, the room was big and clean. the bed was dreamy, the breakfast was varied and tasty. the property is green and so beautiful. we actually wish we booked another night

Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommended Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The hotel was spotless – everything was very clean and well-maintained. The staff was very tentative, helpful and respectful. I had an issue with the cleanliness of the bedsheets in the room, management handled the situation swiftly and respectfully and later during checkout they offered us a great discount in return to make up for their error. you don't see that in other hotels.

Weird smell in the bathroom when we arrived (a mix of chlorine and something that was off), but this wasn’t too bothersome. A bit noisy fan in the bathroom which couldn’t be switched off, but did so automatically after a little while.

Spacious room. Clean and tidy. Very comfortable beds. Air conditioner and dark curtains. Considered upgrading to a better room beforehand, just to make sure the quality was better, but ended up not doing it and was so satisfied with everything! Varied breakfast with warm food (eggs, beans, sausages, pancakes) and bread, cereal, pastries, fruit. Nice staff, spoke good English.

Unfortunately, we arrived late and had to park in the hotel's underground garage for an additional fee. It's not a downside, just a note for future travelers.

Well-located hotel near the highway exit, comfortable rooms, and if it hadn't been cold, I would have enjoyed the view from the balcony. Friendly staff, sufficient and varied breakfast.

Due to location Taxis booked at the reception came from central Budapest. As an example we travelled 10kms to a nearby small town (approx seven minutes in the taxi). We paid 45 euros for this journey. The receptionist explained that as part of our fare we were paying as if we had travelled FROM the City Centre. Please be aware of this. Why there is no local taxi service I do not know and no explanation was forthcoming when it was raised with the Hotel.

There is nothing to do in Herceghalom outside of the hotel, and public transport connectivity to visit other towns and villages nearby is limited. Breakfast and dinners are rather basic and are offered in a very crowded, in-door area. The availability of snacks from the bar is dependent on the capacity of the restaurant's kitchen, so is not guaranteed.

A hotel for a relaxed, short stay in a very small village in Hungary. The area is very green. The hotel offers a spa alongside various entertainment including bowling and billiard (for an extra fee).

Having a plug-in car I wanted to use the charging points in the parking but all the slots were occupied by non electric cars. I would advise tse the administrators to take care about it.

For a 4yo, the spa area was somewhat less exciting. We could have done with one more, ever so small, pool for kids. Also, Saturday afternoon was much too crowded; the spa area (especially as we had the impression locals would also frequent the place on a day ticket) is way too small for a large hotel like this. The jacuzzi was monopolized by a handful of guests for the best part of the afternoon/evening. The shampoo dispenser in the bathroom was broken or empty. Without the temporary children's playroom in front of the conference rooms, our stay would have been far less enjoyable with a 4yo.

We went for the wellness area and were not disappointed. The outdoor sauna house was especially great. Having a dip in the outdoor pool (which I suppose will be let down for the autumn/winter) was excellent. The food was decent, we took the half-board option and weren't disappointed. We got lucky with the playroom area: though the official Halloween events had been over by the time we arrived, the children's corner was still available. It was removed just around the time we were leaving the hotel on Sunday afternoon. The saunas and steam are fine, the swimming pool fairly long (25m), though somewhat narrow.
