We really liked this place. It's in a perfect location for tourists as it is so central. It's on a main pedestrian only street. Some of the best restaurants literally at your door step. The apartment unit is not facing the street so we did not hear any noise. It was very quiet. The beds are comfortable and the A/C's in each bedroom worked well. The owner was easy to reach and meeting her to check in was easy. I'd definitely return again.

Needed to have a toaster, the heating didn’t work as it had been turned off by the city on 15 th April, this is apparently common practise and beyond the apartment owners control. It could have been gotten around however by perhaps providing a portable fan heater.

Very clean and comfortable, an excellent example of inner city apartment living. The area was fantastic, upmarket and close to the river Danube but equally close to shops and metro. It was also very quiet at night. There were two bedrooms with king size beds and two bathrooms/ toilets.

Perfect location. Klara was very friendly and informative. Great apartment. Although in a busy street we could hear no noise during day or night. Slept very well. Would definitely stay here again upon our return as we thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night trip to Budapest

The second bathroom had a shower with no shower screen which made it difficult to manage. Would have appreciated a brand new dishwashing sponge instead of an old used one. The shower gel and hand soap was minimal and barely enough. A chopping board would be welcomed.

Great central location, couldn’t be better. Very secure. Great having washing machine in the apartment. Air conditioning was welcomed with the hot weather. Two toilets was very good with 2 couples.

Quiet and very convenient. No frills but the basics to make us feel welcome and comfortable were all there. Klara the host was very helpful and friendly . Location superb just next to Cathedral and a 3-5 minute walk to the river.

The apartment is ideally located for walking to the major sights and numerous restaurants near the Basilica of St Stephen. Our host gave us a warm welcome which was greatly appreciated. The apartment is in a pedestrian zone and is quiet and restful, especially after a day’s sightseeing. You’ll love it.

2nd bathroom drains smelled terrible and the door had to be kept closed to stop the smell affecting the apartment. Kitchen was basic, no oven, but this was okay since local restaurants were reasonable. (Street food was very expensive.)

Location was fantastic. 2 rooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. Wifi, washing machine and drying rack were helpful. Lovely main shower and bathroom.

The landlady was very helpful, she helped to pay the taxi for me as I did not bring local currency. The location is great! it is closed to everywhere in the city center.

One bathroom lacked a shower curtain so water sprayed all over the bathroom. This is common in Europe; I don't know why. Elevator for the building is a little tricky. Sometimes it responds to calls... sometimes it doesn't. But that's not the fault of the apartment owner.

Great hostess, great location, well kept room that is larger than most hotels. It's a great value and I would recommend it for small to medium sixed families (five people or less).

It would have been nice to have had a late check out (the apartment was empty) but Klara was kind enough to allow us to leave our bags in the passageway which helped. Note if you want a late night massage there are ladies at the crossroads who will help you out. Some of the other tenants were of dubious qualities but once locked away in the apartment we felt entirely safe.

We liked Klara apt. It is through a gateway leading off the main street. The entrance after that isn't that promising- through a hallway stacked with refuse containers and then up 4 floors in a rickety lift which will only take 2 people at a time. And 3 double locked doors. But when you get to the apartment is a lovely restored apartment to modern standards. So it's worth the journey. Location is excellent - once you get out onto the street restaurants to the right and left of you (we most liked TG opposite). Pay in Huf's if you can everywhere - the exchange rates in most places to Eu are rip-offs. Watch also for the mandatory service charge of up to 20% almost everywhere. The Danube and the Basilica in either direction - note the Chain bridge is closed so to get to the other side use tram 2 either way to get to the next bridge and walk or tram across. But first buy metro tix at a metro station. The airport transfers via Booking.com were excellent and cheap.
