Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SlovakiaFurniture in the room is quite old and some drawers were wobbly and falling apart. Picture of the bathroom also did not met quite the reality. However it was clean. Rooms would deserve a bigger touch up and renovating. Parking is little bit chaotic as at the entrance there are more ramps so it would be nice to have a sign where the hotel parking is. As it is not only for hotel guests it is tricky to find a parking space, especially when you arrive in the afternoon.
Location of the hotel is brilliant, right at the beach. Size of the rooms are typical but the size of the balcony is above average. Meals are also good and they prepare something fresh every morning and dinner, so it was a nice experience. Even when it is a fairly big hotel, there always was enough food, vegetables and fruit. I also appreciated the traffic light when with approx times when it is more quiet in the restaurant when if you want to avoid the peak. Staff was also very nice and helpful.

United StatesThe smell in the bathroom.
Pretty well maintained facility (with somewhat strange smell in WC). But the rest is the best. And the view through the pine woods gifts a clue that all around you iss blue. Great location, ok food, beautiful beach with the view of Primosten.

CanadaThe location is excellent, right on the nice beach. The hotel was built in 1967 and it shows, the furniture in the rooms is from that era. For what you get, it is ridiculously expensive. The only good thing about it is location. Food in its restaurant is decent. There is this tendency of some businesses in tourist sector in Croatia now to brazenly charge tourists as much as they can get away with. The reason for this is greed.

SerbiaThe hotel is outdated - everything including is really old, room doors get stuck, it needs a renovation asap. The hotel doesn’t have a pool. Although you may think that you get sunbeds for free since they are next to the hotel, you don’t (and honestly I didn’t see a sign anywhere saying they are paid for), and one sunbed is 10 eur a day. The breakfast was really bad, we paid for dinner as well - waste of money - poor choice, tastes really bad, and you can buy 2 dinners in nearby restaurants. Overall the hotel is way too overpriced for what you get - it should be (at least) 2 times cheaper.
There are 2 beaches pretty much next to the hotel. The hotel is really close to city center and old town of Primosten so restaurants and everything you need is really close - it has a great location. The room was quiet, so sound isolation is good and hotel is quiet in general. The staff were great!

ItalyAwful coffee at breakfast, tasting like it was burnt (coffee machines, tried all 3 of them during our stay) or tasteless (filtered). The mattress was very soft (but this is a matter of preference). You have to pay a small extra (5 € per day) to park your car.
Awesome position on a peninsula facing Primošten. You can be on the beach in just a few steps (sunbeds come at an extra cost), in town in 5 minutes or so. The staff was very kind and helpful.

ItalyMy half-board experience at this hotel left much to be desired. While there was a variety of meal options, the food quality was consistently poor. Fortunately, due to the low season, the restaurant was never crowded, providing a quieter atmosphere. However, the beach experience came with extra costs for amenities like showers and toilets, which was disappointing. Overall, if dining quality is a priority, this might not be the ideal choice, despite the quiet ambiance and convenient location near the beach.
This hotel offers an excellent location, just a 2-minute walk from the beach. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony. However, some facilities were outdated, which could use an update for a more modern experience. Despite this, the friendly staff made the stay enjoyable. If you value location and room size with a balcony, this hotel is a good choice, though a renovation would enhance the experience.

Slovakia- Breakfast was okay, however, it could have a more variety. - Hotel is a bit outdated and should be updated, it but could be what fans of 80s are looking for. - the indoor pool was out of order - some sunbeds were not in good condition but still usable
- Hotel is on peninsula surrounded by beach on both sides - beautiful beach with many sun umbrellas to rent (2 sunbeds + umbrella = 18 eur per day) - a huge outdoor parking space next to the hotel (6 eur per day) - a good hotel bar with large terrace overlooking the old city Primosten - location (10min walk to the old city Primosten)
