Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaI would recommend the hosts to include the sunbeds in the room price. I also think it would be useful for the restaurant area to have more tables for 4-5 people and fewer for 10-12. This is to avoid the long waiting time to find a table.
It was a great vacation. The location is very beautiful, an oasis of greenery, sea with clear water and beautiful pools. The room we stayed in was very large, clean and with a nice design. The food was diverse and tasty. The evening shows were to our liking. Paola, Leona and Angelica are the best.

SlovakiaYou have to pay 19 eur for sunbed with umbrella at the beach (if not included in your booking). Then if in the afternoon you decide to go to the pools, you have to pay another 19 eur, since reservation is not "movable".
Very nice resort with nice park around apartment houses. Beach is nice for kids, with sand.

BelgiumToilet has smell. The door of bathroom was broken can’t be locked. I am surprised that the customers of the hotel still have to pay for renting the chair at the beach every day.
The nice little one bedroom apartment was perfect for us. The balcony is great and we have our privacy. Kitchen is well equipped.

LithuaniaDue to the size of the resort, often they lose quality for quantity (f.e. the cleanliness of the room, the service at the restaurant, long wait at the check-in desk etc.). Also, as the place is really crowdy, it might not be suitable for people who are looking for peaceful vacation.
The resort is huge, with all the necessary facilities and a lot of attractions. Often you dont even need to leave the site, as you have everything at the resort.

AustriaThere were so many ants in the apartment, so it was very uncomfortable. We had to buy a spray killing them and use it every day because they came inside again and again. Given the price paid, we did not expect that sunbeds and umbrellas should be paid extra money. Similar resorts where we stayed before included it in the price.
The location of the resort, the sea, the beach, the pools, the food - all this was excellent! We are very satisfied with that.

HungaryThis message is specifically intended for management. I recommend holding the morning meetings not in the meeting room in a relaxed and cheerful manner, but rather out in the lobby, where the real problems can be seen — where nearly 50 guests are waiting for assistance from just 4 staff members at the reception. This situation is stressful for both the staff and the guests. I believe this is an area that could be improved.
Beautiful place and kindly helpfull staffs. Everything is in place for a great family holiday with the kids. However, be prepared financially, as everything is very expensive. Dinner and breakfast are plentiful and delicious, although breakfast is always the same — still, the selection is wide.

HungaryEverything is quite a long distance with young kids (beach, restaurants). Even the parking - they have golf carts and help you with packing however at check-out we waited for hours and nobody came. So we had to carry the suitcases to the car. Restaurants are super busy all the time, people are queuing up before meals which is not a nice holiday experience. There is no room cleaning for a week - as it's hotel priced, one cleaning mid week would have been nice. Sunbeds are extremely overpriced (25 EUR per sunbed per day). My youngest is 2,5 and she wasn't allowed in the kids club, we only learned this when we got there. Kids programs aren't well communicated except for the mini discos in the evening.
Good sized rooms, nice pool complexes. Everything is within walkable distance. Meals were alright, but we had nicer meals elsewhere.

United KingdomSome of the staff were not very friendly, not many greeted you in passing. I think this is lack of adequate training. All activities cost extra. Sunbeds cost 19 euros for 2 beds and a sunshade, which is almost 40 euro per day for family of 4. Beware taxis at airport will scam you with exorbitant prices (140 euro one way) and claim airport sets rates. Use Uber taxis they are a fraction of cost (38 euros).
Great facilities for kids. Lots of stuff to do, safe for kids to ride bikes. We didn't use the self service restaurant but used all the other restaurants around complex. in 12 days stay we ate out 6 or 7 times and enjoyed every meal. Waiters/waitresses were generally welcoming and friendly, (Anya was great). Food was always good. Hired bikes and rode to Nin (10 minutes) and it is a lovely little town. Taxi to Zadar and this was also a lovely place as well. Walked to Zaton and Zaton plaza for change of scene. Great pools with lifeguards.

SlovakiaNo options for vegan or lactose free meals, you have to specificaly ask kitchen to give you glass of cold almond milk. 🤦♀️ poor cleaning, their changing towel once in 4 days and cleaning apartment once in 7 days!!!I never experienced that in 4* hotels in any destinatiom that Ive been. Also in the areal there were always adults and kids on bikes and scooters running everywhere so you have to be very carefull when you are walking around, this is also not managed or covered by hotel management. I personally saw kid running on scotter and falling down because of other kids scooters.

PolandThere were some problems with the elecrtonic key/card but the reception was very engaged in solving it - they exchanged the card until it actually worked so we appreciate that; we realized that it was just the beginning of the season, just after the opening so we understood some minor issues not worth mentioning
This wasn't our first (or even second) visit in Zaton so we knew exactly what to expect - and we weren't disappointed. We stayed in a quiet location (close to the beach/pool but far away from the reception - for us it was ok) We loved the comfort apatments, we had all we needed there :)

NorwayOur Comfort appartment and pool areas / super market was 500m+ all directions. Clocked in over 14.000 steps each day. Food in resturants are ok but not great. Did not try the buffet. Since it is 500m+ each direction. Glad we could but food at super market and make some of the meals our selves. If you want to eat better food. Zadar is 20 min by taxi. Birds nest on our terrase and wild cats walking around the appartment. Appartment was not cleaned when we stayed one week. Had to wash floors ourselves. Decking on football pitch was strange hard plastic, simular to shower tiles.
Nice family vacation center. Quiet and fun for the Kids. Nice pool areas. Everything you need in one area.
