Reviews of Wind Rose Split

First of all the host actually offered to pick us up from the airport which was SO handy and then carried our bags up the stairs and into the apartment. The location was amazing, an easy walk into old town and throughout and we felt safe at night time to walk back. The apartment is nice and secure and safe. The apartment was very clean, very modern with great aircon.

The bedding was a little thin but they do provide an extra blanket which was helpful.

It was exceptional! The location is perfect: very central, just a few minutes walk from the old town, yet wonderfully quiet. The room is spotless, everything is brand new, and the bed is very comfortable. Duje’s warm welcome and great tips made the stay even better. I highly recommend it and would definitely come back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Wind Rose Split and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The room was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable—it had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Split, yet tucked away just enough to offer peace and quiet. We were able to walk to all the major attractions, restaurants, and the waterfront within minutes, which made our trip even more enjoyable. What truly made this stay special, though, was the host. The owner was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and attentive—always available if we had any questions or needed anything (even at 9pm at night lol). His warm hospitality made us feel so welcome and well cared for throughout our stay. We’ve stayed in many places over the years, but the Wind Rose Split truly stands out for its comfort, charm, and exceptional host!!. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier experience in Split!

Great apartment - good size, clean, nice to have a balcony with shade in the morning for breakfast, short walk to the old town or forest area, air-con worked well which made it really comfortable at night.

Bed was too hard for me so it was difficult to sleep comfortably. We could not get room fark enough for day time nap.

Superb apartment with everything you need for a stay. Ideally located for all the bars, restaurants and sights. Duje was a great host and always available.

Great location, really quiet, short walk into town. Was clean on arrival and comfortable. Host was super lovely - came and met us and explained all about the apartment and shared a map of where we could visit.

We expected fresh towels on day 3 but these didn't arrive - we ended up using wet and quite smelly towels as they couldn't dry in the apartment. We left window open to help with this and we came back to loads of mosquitos and flies! Maybe I read it wrong on the website but I thought a cleaner came in for fresh linens. This was the only negative - we will be back!

It was a very clean little place very close to the old town and great location. We really enjoyed our stay and had a great time.

The main problem of the old town of split is lack of parking spot. We were expecting a parking but the one on the front was full so we had to park on the street. Not a major problem if you are willing to walk a little bit

Great little apartment in a really good location. Has wardrobe, dining table, small kitchen with induction cooker, kettle and dishwasher, and really nice bathroom. The balcony was a highlight for breakfast in the sun. The host allowed us to check in early, which was very helpful. The host was friendly and spoke really good English. The apartment is less than 5 mins away from supermarkets, restaurants and city streets. It is 8/10 mins walk away from the port for day trips, and about 20 mins walk from the bus stations. The streets felt safe at night, and the property was easy to access. There are lots of beautiful cats around the area!

Missing either a microwave or toaster oven, otherwise nothing!

Wonderful room. Very clean, comfortable, and AMAZING location. Duje was very informative and helpful, would 100% be back if possible. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The host is a very nice and helpful person. The property is located 5 minutes away from the main street und 6-7 minutes away from the sea side, as well as from the roman quarter and old town. It was with very easy access, and the taxi could stop directly to the house door. The room was very clean, enouth for 2 persons.
