The only small downside was the balcony, which felt a bit too small and didn’t provide much space for drying clothes — inside the bathroom they took much longer to dry. Still, this was just a minor detail compared to all the positives. Overall, the hotel felt comfortable, well cared for, and ideal for a relaxing break on Brač. We would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the island.

We had a really lovely stay at Hotel Vrilo. The breakfast was one of the highlights, with an amazing variety of fresh and tasty options, eggs of different style every morning, so there was always something to enjoy. The staff were equally impressive - friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which created a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. The location is also very convenient, with nice beaches close by and others just a short walk away, making it easy to combine relaxation at the hotel with time by the sea.

Some smells from bathroom sinks, undrinkable and smelly tap water, during the showering it often happens that warm water just stops all of the sudden and you have to wait a bit for it to return... during peak season can be loud until early morning hours, midnight too.

Unreliable WiFi. Laziness of some of staff - NOT all. Inability to open the louvred shutters made sleeping at night uncomfortable although there is air conditioning that works really well. I just prefer natural air.

there were no issues with the accommodation or staff. If I had to make one suggestion I would have say that there was no kettle in the room and it would have been nice to be able to make coffe/tea. Also the mini fridge didn't have a freezer section, given how hot the area is it would have been nice to be able to freeze our ice packs instead of just cool them in the fridge.

the breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly. Beautiful beaches and neighborhood with very nice restaurants right next to the hotel. The beach was right around the corner from the hotel and the view from our room overlooked the habour and ocean with incredible sunsets.

A few little things: The property claims to have a spa but this isn’t operational - they should remove this from the description, but it doesn’t in any way detract from a fabulous little property that overlooks the harbour area. The room key cards aren’t reliable and need to be regulars re programmed.

The location was fantastic. The staff were willing to help with everything - all were lovely including housekeeping lady who had to rescue me from being locked out of my room a few times.

The view from our window was lovely but the service at this hotel was what stood out. Although Vrilo is a Hotel Nicco and his colleagues made us feel as if we were being hosted through airbnb - friendly and smiley hosts always ready to help. The location was also perfect!
