Wifi was a bit slower

The host was very kind with giving suggestions on activities and places to eat. She also communicated that our room was ready for early check in which was nice since we came in from the boat earlier than original check in. She even brought a couple extra things to us and went out of her way to make our anniversary special which we greatly appreciated. Definitely would come back again.

Couldn't rate this room highly enough. A few steps, turn the corner and you have restaurants, bars and shops on your doorstep. Right in the heart of the old town but the location of the room is in a quiet side street. The room itself is exactly as it looks in pictures, immaculately clean, modern and spacious - with a beautiful private balcony. Good quality towels and toiletries were provided, and a basket with fresh towels, toilet rolls and coffee left outside our door after 2 days as we were there 4 nights. Our host Rita was excellent, providing really clear directions for our arrival and when I couldn't find the WiFi code i messaged her and she replied straight away with the details. All in all a fabulous place to stay in beautiful Split.

Wi-Fi is poor but the fault of the city’s thick walls.

This property is situated in the centre of Split allowing immediate access to the jewels of the city centre. However, despite this close proximity. the apartment offered a tranquil retreat from the hubbub of the city as is needed after a busy day. There is an outside sitting area to people watch such as the odd neighbour or passer by and is an ideal place to enjoy a quiet evening drink before venturing out to the many medieval enclave street restaurants. The golden hue of the stone walled room and hi spec fittings provide a cooling ambience to the beautiful but hot city. The host Rita is generous with her knowledge, advice and help. Would recommend this accommodation.

Nothing really. If you have a big luggage just bear in mind there are a few stairs to go up to the room. We had a carry on and a backpack and we were fine, and this is something that you’ll encounter all over the city anyways.

Rita was super helpful and easy to communicate with lots of recommendations. Location was great to get around split’s old town. Close enough to restaurants but still quiet to get a good night sleep. AC worked great. Bed was comfortable. Amazing view. Lots of space for luggage. Even a clothes airer. Kettle with instant coffee. We would definitely come back again.

We loved our stay very much.

Accommodation is situated down a meandering of cobbled alleys and nestled in a mini-oasis away from the crowds and heat. Felt like being in an Aladdin’s cave: the historical beauty of the building and surrounding area, the room is richly decorated, with awe-inspiring rocky walls, cosy bed, window shutters that can block out the harsh sunlight, heavenly shower, super little bar fridge to keep food and water chilled and a lovely table and chair set outside for morning coffee. We adored our stay here and our host Rita was a Gem! She ensured everything we needed was made available and gave amazing restaurant and activity recommendations around Split as it was our 1st visit. We will definitely stay here again!

Wifi connection was not great, but still we managed to get by as it was not the first priority to us anyway.

Location is excelent. Close to everything, but still nicely away from the noise and gives good oppotunity to relax if you choose so. Our hostress Rita was super helpfull and ready to help on us on any questions and get back fast.

The location is ideal for wandering around Split. Very near to all the major attractions as well as the ferry for excursions. The room was immaculately clean and cozy. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. The check in process and ease of communication with the owner was amazing. Rita sent us a massive list of local restaurants, activities, day trips and more by WhatsApp and her recommendations were stellar. We ate in amazing places through her suggestions. I can’t wait to stay here again!

Everything was so good, nothing negative to say.

I can describe this place in one word: amazing!!! It was quite hard to find the place in the dark but it was like a hidden gem, so beautiful!!! Very good location near everything, the place was so quiet and clean. Bed was good with choice of pillows, also wifi and aircon in the room. Our host Rita was so friendly and helpful and send us really good tips to Split. We would highly recommend Villabella. ❤️
