Hosts in Villa Paladina were everything you could wish for on vacation. They were really lovely people who have been on our disposal 24/7. Everything we asked, they would give an answer immediately. The room we stayed in was so clean with a really comfortable bed and a sparkling bathroom. They had air conditioning which was really important because the temperatures were so high outside. In the hallway closet there was extra toilet paper, detergent, towels.. anything you need. We especially liked the table outside on the balcony where we spent most of our stay. The view was simply amazing. Villa Paladina hosts allowed us to use the grill to make dinner. Over there we met our neighbors in the apartment below us, that made our stay even more enjoyable. From the room takes about 15 minutes to walk to the center of Hvar. We firstly came on foot using GPS but there was a faster route. Our host explained it to us in a simple way. We are definitely going to come back here one day!

The location is quite far from the city center around 20–25 minutes walking uphill. For the money we paid, it didn’t feel worth it. The room was okay but without any mirror plus the lighting was poor, and the bathroom felt outdated with very little light we had to keep all the lights on just to see. Also, the room had access to a balcony, but it was an open shared one, so it didn’t feel private at all. We could not leave our balcony door open because someone might pass by.

The staff was OK. We arrived earlier than check-in time and they allowed us to store our luggage so we could enjoy the beach in the meantime. That was very nice of her, DINA.

The refrigerator froze any food or drinks, we tried to turn it to a lower temp and it didn’t work, still froze everything

The property was located a little outside of town, had a nice balcony with a good view. There was no room was clean and nice to stay in for a couple of days

It was located up a very steep hill and lacked air conditioning units within some rooms

The entire property was clean and provided many facilities for the guests. The owner of the property also provided travel to the harbour.

Paying in cash or transfer is difficult. ATMs take a large chunk and money transfers are long. It's too bad credit cards take so much in the exchange.

I had to find a place late in the evening and he was available and very helpful. The apartment is near everything and well equipt. Very clean and comfortable. If I could have stayed longer I would have loved to rent a scooter.

The host Paolo is great!! He was always available to give us advices to make our vacation unforgettable. He recommended us amazing restaurants (cheaper than the average) we would have never found. He also organized for us an amazing boat trip and rented us a car to travel around the island. Super nice

First of all, having A/C is soooo helpful around summer here in Croatia but we barely needed it at night here. We just kept our french door blinds open. This apartment is also within Hvar Old Town so everything is basically walkable. The landlord was so easy to communicate with and easy to reach. Paul has a network of Hvar tour guides and rentals, so even if you did not book anything prior to arriving, just ask Paul about it. We ended up renting his car for a day to visit Stari Grad. If we didn't have a heavy thunderstorm that day, we could have gone on 4x4 tour to visit the lavender fields, vineries, and the climbing area on the island. Our room has a nice patio and a kitchenette. Very well worth it! This apartment is also a 5-minute walk to a nice cove beach.

We booked 2 apartments and they were exceptional value for money .Whilst the kitchen were small this was more than accommodated with amazingly large balconies which effectively added the most beautiful dining and relaxation area with an outstanding view!!!! It was such an amazing surprise when we opened the balcony doors and a short walk to a beautiful beach cove . Our lovely hosts were exceptional ....responsive ,helpful and so informative . If I go back to Hvar this is where I will stay. Thank you .

The location is absolutely walkable. 15 minutes. The stairs shorten the path (and lead to the supermarket) - you get a nice sweat when going up mid day though. No problem in the evening as the wind picks up and this is cooler.

The ground floor apartment came with two bedrooms and two bathrooms , a dining room and big kitchen and a porch with a table. The location was quiet, big and clean and comfortable, with very nice hosts. The host made reservation for us at the restaurant for a birthday in our party : the recommendation was excellent and we got extra treats. We stayed for 3 nights and wished we stayed much longer.

Few houses next was a construction site (hope in season 2023 they are already done), builders started working quite early. Both sides of bed was noisy when changing position, for some may be really irritating (was able to tolerate it). In room was lack of space for luggage, it is suitable for one small cabin bag only (light traveling).

Great beach nearby, takes a little bit of cardio to climb back up (but that's pretty much everywhere, because of relief of island).

Laundry service included was a selling point to me. When I requested it, Paolo wanted 20 Euros. I showed him where the web page stated that it was included, no additional charge. I have a screenshot to prove it. He refused to honor that. The next morning I noticed that the web page had changed. Someone with integrity would have honored the advertised rate. The only heater was in the bedroom. The rest of the apartment was like an icebox. Satellite TV did not work the first night. Many amenities listed were not true. Walk in closet. Coffee machine(cord was missing). Electric tea kettle. Guest bathroom. Daily housekeeping (since changed). Slippers. Board games and puzzles. Drying rack. These were all non-existent. Very slow to respond to messages. I arrived at my stated check-in time. No one was there to check me in. One room was unlocked and apparently not being used, so I took it. I left the place cleaner than I found it. Next visit I will find another place.
