Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicIn general, everything was good, but for very demanding travelers, I write the disadvantages:There are no mosquito nets on the windows, as it gets dark you have to close the windows. Noisy from the planes, it was a little hot on the 3rd floor when it was +37 outside, sometimes the air conditioners in the bedrooms with balconies knocked in the morning, on the 2nd floor in the bedroom with a balcony, the bed is very nice. but it creaks a lot. Also, there was only an iron on the 2nd floor and an ironing board, there was no hair dryer anywhere, but maybe they would provide it to you upon request. There are no washing machines in the rooms, there is one washing machine for everyone near the pool. for 1 week, 2 free washings per family. The next 5 euros, but we were not required to pay extra. The pool can be used from 8 in the morning to 8-9 in the evening, you cannot jump into the pool and play with a ball. A barbecue area in the corner, only for cooking, does not have a table and chairs for eating outside.
We rented apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floors for 2 families, 10 people. The apartments are very large, each with 3 bedrooms, big living room with big sofa and 3 bathrooms, which is very convenient for a large family. in general, each floor can accommodate 8 adults and a few more children on double beds. From the 3rd floor there is a stunning view of the mountains, the sea, and Split. There are 3 huge balconies on the 3rd floor. But there is no roof on the balconies on the 3rd floor, so it is hotter here than on the 2nd Upon check-in, you must pay a deposit of 150 euros. There are many rules in the apartment that must be followed: sort garbage, close the blinds, turn off the air conditioner when you leave the room, do not jump in the pool, play ball, eat by the pool. But if you are careful and follow the rules, you will not have problems with the owners and the deposit will be returned to you. This house is near the airport, planes fly very low right over the house. It wasn't a problem for us, it was even interesting, but it's very loud, all day and night, so take that into account. We have developed very good relations with the owners, they are very elderly people and if we behave appropriately, everything will be fine. The host even took our daughter to the airport, for which we thank him very much. The hosts treated us to homemade wine. The wine is very tasty. We had a great week here, thank you. There are many beautiful beaches around, we drove to a new one every day. There are supermarkets and a bakery nearby.

The location was excellent the shops and beaches are a few minutes walk away. The bus service was great every 20 minutes it came and you could travel to wonderful Trogir or busy Split very easily. The bus drivers are helpful too. Our accommodation was just perfect. Our apartment was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. I really enjoyed the mountain views from the swimming pool and found it to be a very peaceful place. Staying in a vineyard was unique. I had the pleasure of sampling the delicious wine which was really tasty. The owners showed us a lot of kindness and warmth and we will not forget them. I will come back again.

AustriaThe Owner was very sweet and made sure we had a great time here. But unfortunately the older man (her dad we believe) had no respect for our privacy and jugded everything we did, if we jumped in the pool, he said it wasn’t allowed for example because in his opinion its a waste of water. He never let us enjoy anything and told us a lot of things we couldn’t do. And the man threatened us a lot of times with a 50-100€ fee because of anything he could think of. The Apartment itself was somewhat good. But the air conditioning was very poor. Would not go there again in my opinion.
