We visited the Meneghetti Winery as the last in our two week-holiday through Slovenia and Croatia. It was a culinary and hospitality highlight. It is expensive, but the services and the location fully justify the price. If you need a luxury rest, this is the place to go. Staff was very attentive, recommendations for food and wine were excellent. The only drawback was the walk we did to the nearby beach resort. There is not much of a resort, and the way is actually quite snake-invested (we saw three of them during a 30 minutes walk, so high boots recommended!). But there is no need to go there. Better stay within the confines of the resort and let you spoil!

Was slightly remote area where you would want to eat every meal there, so it’s probably best for 2-3 nights and not a full week Beach too far from main property

The overall location and atmosphere was wonderful and very relaxing. Of course, wine choices and wine quality were exceptional. Excellent breakfast and very lovely lunch and dinner options. All in all, we are definitely returning!

Note that the hotel is in a quite remote location, i.e. a drive of at least 30mins via small roads once you leave the highway. There’s two ways leading to the hotel - make sure to take the northern one via Bale, as the more southern one is a heavily bumpy gravel road (it would have been nice to know this in advance…). Also note that this is not an adults only hotel, hence as a couple, you’ll need to be happy to have kids running around, jumping in the pool, playing ball in the pool (although this is formally not allowed), etc. - this did not bother us, but is worth noting.

We absolutely loved the hotel and the property - beautifully located in the middle of vineyards and olive trees. Rooms are spacious and modern, food was delicious and staff was very friendly and accomodating. We enjoyed the possibility to relax both by the pool, as well as at the hotel beach, which is easily reachable with a shuttle. All in all, definitely recommend!

The only thing is that there were 2 private events during our 4 days stay which we had no previous knowledge of, one of which was a wedding. This meant that there were 2 late afternoons/evenings, when we could not use the big pool and partially the garden area. Also, during the weeding, the music was very loud, but it was good that after 11 pm they moved it to a different location, afterwards it was quiet again.

We have visited Meneghetti for the second time and we liked it again. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is exquisite and the rooms are comfortable. The pools in the garden are wonderful, it is a great place to relax. I totally recommend it for a long weekend getaway.

This time I did not get any congratulations on my birthday like last year, though we came to celebrate it and I mentioned it when checking my reservation. Coffee machine in our room was not working properly and one of the sinks didn't work well in our bathroom.

It was not the first time for us at Meneghetti - we live to stay there. Food is exceptional, wines, nature and SPA are amazing. This year breakfast is even better than last year.

Really lovely estate, with endless possibilities for making your stay enjoyable. Breakfast, dinner, wine, just splendid. The beach club was closed in April, but it was nevertheless worth the bike drive. Staff is just fabulous.

Dirt road getting there.

The property was pristine! It was so relaxing and quiet. Everything was calming and amazing the second you set foot on sight.

The road leading up to the hotel is not paved, therefore if you don't have an SUV it is quite hard to reach. Additionally one night we were supposed to have dinner in the restaurant but we started first with some cocktails in the lobby - we were insistently rushed by one staff member to go to our table for dinner....even though it was not yet time for our planned reservation... that we felt, was a bit weird.

the property is very nice, with a lot of opportunities to relax, eat good food and enjoy great wine. The staff, is detail oriented and helpful. The food, especially the breakfast was really great with lots of options.

The tasting room opened so late. Would’ve loved for it to be open earlier so that people checking out in the morning can stop by and purchase items.

Everything was perfect. Its a super cosy and friendly, one of a kind luxurious restort. Access to the seaside / beach is possible as well. Hotel staff is pure gem: all of them are super friendly and attentative, making our stay unforgetably classy and unique.. Food - delicious. Wines - lovely and happy drinkable. Thanks a lot to everyone who assisted us (incl. room service, reception, concierge, restaurant / bar / Spa personnel etc.) and see you soon again 🙋‍♂️🍾✨️
