How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Grace! The owner was extremely helpful and very friendly! He did everything so that we can have an amazing holiday. And we did! The property is very new, well maintained and perfectly positioned. The rooms are big, clean, perfect. Would love to come back!

This time, we got the city facing room which could be noisy due to passing vehicles. Note - We keep the windows open and do not use air conditioning.
The room was large and well equipped. The place had excellent facilities, friendly staff and and a great location.

The location is absolutely perfect—just around a 10-minute walk to both Rovinj’s charming Old Town and the beach. Despite being in the city, the area is surprisingly quiet and peaceful, which made for very relaxing mornings and restful nights. There are also a couple of grocery stores just a 2-minute walk away, which was really convenient. The property itself is spotless and feels brand new, with a sleek, modern design that’s both stylish and comfortable. We also really appreciated the secure parking garage, especially since parking can be tricky in Rovinj. Aside from the great location, modern amenities, and quiet atmosphere, the real highlight was the host. He was incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready with local tips and recommendations. He made us coffee several times a day and even offered complimentary drinks, which he often enjoyed with the guests, creating a very friendly and social atmosphere. There’s a lot of attention to detail here—from the comfortable beds and high-quality furnishings to the relaxed, homey vibe throughout the villa. It was our first time in Rovinj, and staying at Vila Grace made it a perfect experience. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we visit!

Everything was perfect. Stefano is so kindness person who welcomed us, took care of us and we felt as stay home. Room is larg with nice equipment and very comfortable bed. We enjoyed our stay and we can recommend for everyone who comes will be satisfied as we were.

Nothing negative at all, only positive!
Fantastic location to the center, super nice host, and the best thing is that you could park the car in the garage located on the basement level. The accommodation also has a lift perfect for luggage when parked in the garage.

We really appreciated the underground garage as bikers. The host was always cheerful and helpful. The apartment was clean and had all essential stuff. You can walk everywhere from the apartment in few min (center, beach, shops, restaurants).

Everything was excellent. There was nothing we disliked.
First off, all of the facilities are brand new, the room is spacious and bathroom is large. The place is quiet. Second, the staff was very friendly. Lastly, Villa Grace is located a short walking distance from the main bus stop, Tommy supermarket, and perhaps the best restaurant in Rovinj - Il Faro (a must try!), while Mulni beach, and park forest Zlatni Rt are nearby. Two thumbs up for Villa Grace!

Host was amazing and very responsive and helpful. The location is great- very walkable to everything we needed- minutes from the main tourist area. Room was clean and comfy, and a great value for the money. Would recommend and would stay here again.

There’s no terrace where you can dry the towels and in five days there’s no clean service and towels change!
