Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyCar parking is a bit cramped and no charging facilities. Room was perhaps a touch small and dated plumbing.
Location and surrounded on three sides by the sea, with rocky beach with carved entry points or ladders, and super clean water. Excellent breakfast and dinner included

SloveniaThe food could have been better. Juices at breakfast too sweet, neither kids couldn’t finish it, surely cheaper ones, there could be more variety of fruits and vegetables, the green salad was in big pieces, scrambled eggs with vegetables good but too salty, but I guess it’s the suitable reflection of the price that is not too high.
The stuff was really very friendly! 10 stars for them! The surrounding is very green, the air fresh.

HungaryThe bathroom had a sewage issue and it was very stinky. We had to ask for another room as it couldn't be fixed. Paying extra for the parking? Why?
Big variety of food, kind and helpful staff, good location, live music some evenings, nice pool, hammocks, dining out in the terrace.

NetherlandsThe furniture is a bit outdated, but still clean and fully functional. Refurbishment could greatly enhance the experience.
The location and the hotel's surrounding were perfect. Nice choice of beaches that were not overcrowded. Cleanliness inside and outside the hotel was up to the expected standards. Great choice and variety of food served for breakfast and dinner. Especially have to praise the staff - very professional, providing service up to the standard and going often well beyond and making extra steps when assistance is needed. They have provided quick and efficient service to all the inquiries we had and always with the smile on their faces.

BelgiumThe place is well maintained and clean, but our room really showed its age: an eighties original with chipped furniture and bad matresses and pillows. Especially the small bathroom could use a thorough makeover, the plumbing was very noisy. The room was on the ground level, but from the reception you had to face several sets of stairs up.and down to get there. Even our room had some steps. Same renovation needed in the main restaurant. The upholstery of several chairs was visibly worn out and for 3 consecutive evenings one of the main lights went on and off the whole time. Sunbeds near the pool are free, those on the rocks near the sea cost 4 euro a day. The parking at the entrance is 1,20 a day. Fortunately there are electric cars taking you and your luggage up to the reception.
The setting is spectacular. A village set with several bungalows and a central building in a pine forest on a peninsula, surrounded by the sea. A huge swimming pool with sunbeds, a store, even a supermarket next to the parking at the entrance. All paths circling the peninusala very well maintained, with lots of rocky plateaus to sunbathe and stairs that give access to the sea. The staff is very friendly and helpfull.

HungaryThe bathroom was a bit smelly at times, but other than that, everything was great. The flushing was indeed loud, but it did not bother us like others.
The reception and staff were smiley and friendly. Rooms were cleaned daily; they provided new towels daily, which is a big plus. Dinner and breakfast were delicious every day. The cuisine provided new things each day. The location was perfect because the beach is about 50m away, and you can quickly jump to your room if you forget something.

SerbiaThe safe box in the room was too small and outdated. We needed an old-fashioned key to open it. It's been long since I saw that last time. They charge extra for sunbeds to hotel guests.
The location, clean sea, and nature are incredible. All employees are very helpful and friendly. We are looking forward to returning next year.

CroatiaThe room in the hotel looked old. Our air conditioning was dripping and needed to be fixed, our TV didn’t work. We ate something bad for diner and it didn’t go well for our stomach. They had bar and fast food restaurants right next to the entrance of the hotel, which was not part of the hotel, and when we wanted to pay with card because we didn’t bring cash with us, they told us it was 20 euro minimum, and it was overpriced in general for all food and beverages. Very disappointing for 250 euros for 2 people per night…
It is a in beautiful place, right next to the sea. You are surrounded by nature and it is really relaxing. The pool was really nice.

SloveniaIt would be helpful if vegetarian and vegan options were clearly labeled. For example, it’s difficult to know whether a spread contains meat. The furniture in the room felt a bit outdated, and the space was somewhat cramped. Additionally, the parking is not complimentary for guests and is quite far from the hotel.
The dinner and breakfast were excellent, offering a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan options. I appreciated the inclusion of three vegan milk choices (soy, rice, and oat) as well as the soy and spinach patty and tofu. A delightful touch was champagne available at breakfast. The climate control in the room was very effective and easily adjustable. Our room's location near the beach was ideal, and the beach itself had plenty of shade thanks to the large trees. I also appreciated the convenient free WiFi.

UkraineThe room smells a little damp due to the high humidity, but if you open the balcony doors, everything is ok!
A wonderful hotel with incredible green areas and crystal clear sea! There is enough space for everyone to relax, ideal price/quality ratio, delicious homemade food in the restaurant, friendly staff, prosecco for breakfast! gorgeous! We will definitely return to this place! The child loved the mini disco in the evenings! Next to the hotel you can walk to trampolines and a rope park! There are a lot of vacationers, but the hotel is quiet and peaceful! If you want to take a break from traffic, enjoy nature and the sea, then you should go to this hotel!

MontenegroPillows are quite uncomfortable, flushing the toilet makes the loudest noise.
We stayed in september so it wasn't crowded. It is great for couples with very small babies as it is quiet, lots of space to push them in the stroller, pine forest all around... Location is pure perfection, clear water, half hour walk from Porec. You can rent bikes on every corner and explore the surrounding area. Food was good, not exceptional but quite good. Rooms are cleaned daily, staff is very kind. For those who are looking for a quiet getaway with loads of space to walk around, to enjoy clear water, and to read in the shade of the trees, away from loud music and night life, this is a place to go.
