Absolutely nothing

The breakfast here was one of the most amazing I’ve ever had, and I’ve stayed at many incredible hotels around the world. It was made with love and so beautifully prepared, upscale yet with local flavors and Mediterranean touches that made it so special. Stephen and Ian at the reception were both so kind, professional, and personable, and Tony was helpful as well. A special thank you to the gentleman who served breakfast on August 28th, he was truly wonderful. His kindness, positive energy, and professionalism stood out and made the morning unforgettable. The hotel itself is a dream. With only 10 rooms, it feels intimate and special, and the location in the heart of the old town right by the famous square couldn’t be better. I honestly don’t think you could choose a more perfect place to stay.

Loved the place, stayed at Villa Dobrić and the room is cozy and classy. Bed is comfortable, AC very potent. The best part of the stay is how friendly the staff is. Vestibul is a hidden gem in the middle of old town, the staff kindly showed us the best route to access and hotel and helped us with the luggage on the many staircases Split Old Town have. Receptionist is very nice and helpful, I strongly suggest asking them for restaurant or sightseeing recommendation, they gave us several great tips. Breakfast was amazing, again the staff offered a great service and a very pleasant and entertaining conversation.

Nothing, everything was first class

Fabulous hotel, very clean, staff were super helpful and friendly. The hotel is right in the heart of old town Split, easy to get everywhere. The breakfast was amazing in a beautiful courtyard. I have travelled all over the world and this hotel is right up there in terms of all round service.

If you have mobility issues - there are a lot of stairs. Staff helped with our bags on arrival and departure.

We were travelling as a family of four with teenage kids and booked the two first floor rooms at Villa Dobric. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and quiet and had everything needed for our stay. Kids loved the free mini bar (soft drinks). The location was excellent. Ivan was an excellent host - he and other staff showed us such welcoming hospitality. He checked in with us before arrival and departure, and staff were helpful if we need anything. Breakfast was located a few winding minutes walk in the main hotel. It was very generous and included in the accommodation price. Would definitely recommend.

Noise from stairwell.

The room was lovely however lots of noise from stairwell from other guests coming and going. Staff are lovely and the location is excellent.

Internet speed not enough for conference call and rooms a little small, but pretty amazing to have a hotel of this quality inside a roman palace!.... and who needs internet when there is so much to explore in Split. It is pricey.... but it's the heart of a city!

Heart of the palace... you can't get any more central.....literally sharing the wall of the Vestibul. Staff very helpful with luggage. Breakfast was excellent.

Just brilliant Hightlight of our Croatia trip

Breakfast was amazing, as well as lunch and the welcome cocktail. There were tenors singing in the vestibule which was incredible to listen to while sipping on a much needed glass of preseco. What really made the trip was the staff, so friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. They even carried our suitcases to the port for us to ensure we knew the way and to help with the long haul. The hotel arranged transfer from Brela for us which was much appreciated. Great driver, nice van. Hotel being in two very separate and distant location seemed odd at first, but we embraced the adventure of winding our way through the long cobbled corridors. Rooms were fine, clean and quiet. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

The attention to detail and hospitality were unmatched. Ivan was the warmest welcome to this beautiful boutique hotel, a true guide to the city with wonderful recommendations and vast knowledge of the property. He also made sure to coordinate our arrival so we did not have to lug our heavy luggage from the street. In the evening Steven was at the front desk and was also such a pleasure with recommendations and accommodations. All the staff were so lovely and happy to assist us. The ambience and decor was sophisticated and went perfectly with the style of the beautiful stone from the 1300’s. It was such a treat to stay somewhere styled so beautifully. It was me and my one friend’s first time in split and I’m so glad this is where we chose to stay. As two solo female travelers we felt very safe. Make sure you uber places instead of using a taxi or it is 3x the price.

We thought we would be at the Vestibul Palace main property as in the past but realized when we arrived that we were actually in another property near by. Bedroom was small.
