Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

DenmarkMaybe a bit too small rooms for the price. Very uncomfortable pillows on a bed. Furniture on balcony could be better for the price taken, there are chippest plastic table and chairs.
Nice location close to the beach, both rocky and sandy beaches. Very good food with enough options to choose. Few swimming pools. My daughter enjoyed a lot evening entertainment program for kids.

United KingdomNothing. For the price I think the hotel is reasonable.
The staff are super friendly and cheerful. They really make the hotel an inviting place to be. I also really enjoyed the beach and the sauna.

EstoniaWe had an all-inclusive package. However many services were still "add-on" and we had to pay extra. Bar closed at 23.00 - could be at least until midnight. Some devices were broken, but these were minor and it didn't affect the stay much.
Location, milieu, parking, services, general quality of the facilities.

SwitzerlandWe were considering taking our dog with us but when we saw that they ask 30 euro/day we changed our mind. With this kind of money you can leave the dog in a dog hotel, where it will be happier with other dogs. If it was 10 euro/day it would have been acceptable. Desserts were not that great, there were many types but sometimes one good, most of the times none. Better have less options but better.
I liked the location and the food. Lots of different options for food.

United KingdomWe didn't opt for all inclusive because neither myself or my husband drink and we are all veggie. We assumed there'd be more a la carte restaurants but this wasn't really the case. There was one option - Oliva's - which was great and which we ate at three times. The other nights we cooked in our villa. It was possible to purchase one off passes for the all inclusive but this was an expensive option. The only other thing was that there was one good night of entertainment early in our stay. Other than that, the entertainment for adults (i.e. after the kids' disco) was quite poor. This didn't spoil our stay at all but it was a shame as the kids were off in the games room or playing football and there wasn't anything to entertain us during that time.
The resort was bigger than we expected and it exceeded our expectations in terms of activities and facilities. The villa was perfect for our needs and very clean. The decor was a little dated but we expected this from the pictures. The staff were generally very friendly and the lady who cleaned our villa each day was fantastic. The setting is lovely too. Very peaceful despite lots to do. Overall, a fantastic place and we'd go back.

United KingdomThe buffet is the main issue - during the peak hours it is very busy and lots of feral kids make it unpleasant. You can find however good food and you can eat healthy if you wish.

AustriaLarge resort, with several swimming pools, possibility for drinks and snacks the whole day. It is best to go for the all inclusive option because food is diverse and good quality for a very reasonable price. We stayed in a villa, which had 2 floors, so we had neighbours upstairs. The villas are practical, but time starts to take its toll on them (front door had to be slammed to close properly, the interior looks a bit dated). Generally it is a pleasant stay (you will spend most of the day outside at the pools or in the sea anyway). Great place for families with children - the Maro centre has activities the whole day for different age groups of kids, with lovely animators (especially Ivonna :-) ) There also evening discos for kids.

United KingdomRoom was not the cleanest/in the best condition. Service was not the sharpest - although staff were friendly and polite. All inclusive drinks were not great quality (most were cheap sodas/diluted drinks on tap). Villas got quite hot without air conditioning in bedrooms.
Lots of activities for children.

BelgiumShortage of tables at meals, huge crowd, (small) kids are allowed to help themselves. Long waiting lines before traditional dishes. Noisy restaurant. Enormous waste of food (painful to see). Soft drinks taste too artificial.
Facilities are great, beaches nearby are beautiful. Good.programmes, diverse (water)sports opportunities. Nice and spacious lobby bar. Lovely family rooms with balcony on the sea side.

AustriaThe toilet tank was leaking in the apartment (it was continuously flushing). The maintenance came quite quick, in few hours after we reported it, and replaced it. Soon after it started to leak again, so it seems more of a typical failure of that type water tank.
We stayed in one of the villas. The resort stretches across a large green area with several pools, sunbeds and playing opportunities for kids. We went for the full board option and it was very much worth it. The food is very good quality and great variety. We stayed for a week, but never felt that we have to eat the same thing again. The resort is right next to the beach, although the beach is not part of the resort itself. (This is why you need to pay if you want to use the sunbeds on the beach). Overall it was a wonderful experience, for families with small children, very much recommended.

SlovakiaWe smelled mold in small houses all the time. Even dough the hotel is children friendly, all the beaches are not really suitable for small children. Sandy beach is cca 10-15 minutes by car, and was too much crovded. I didn't really understand the drink policy for AI guests. Traditional Croatian spirits Tavarica and Pelinkovac had the same price like international Jägerm. in the drink list. 1st was free of charge, 2nd you had to pay for, 3rd again for free.
Food was delicious, the forest (because the hotel and the small houses are built in forest) was nice and well keeped, the small beaches in the area are also nice. The hotel area is really big together with small houses in the forest. The pools are big and clean enough.
