Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ArgentinaWe loved the location, the staff (kind, helpful and friendly) and the pool, beach and facilities! I highly recommended to go to Maistra. We enjoyed doing water sports, the playgrounds, the beach and you can take taxi boat and train from the hotel to Roving center easily.

PolandThe biggest con for me is the Internet connection. The whole resort is luxurious, but if you need to work a bit on your laptop, it becomes a nightmare. I think this should be reviewed by the resort manager. There are multiple access points located more or less in the middle of the resort, but they are hidden behind the trees (which instantly causes the signal quality to drop) and are placed quite low to the ground, so there is not much space for proper signal distribution. If you then think about workation, forgot about it.
The whole resort is beautiful, family-friendly, and close to the beach, with excellent connections to Rovinj Old Town via taxi boat or the tourist "train." There are plenty of playgrounds, pitches for playing football, and alleys for long walks along the coast. The staff is professional and client-oriented. The pools are cleaned every morning, the water quality is checked, and the beaches are well maintained. I have been there four times already, and it’s never enough, so I will definitely take my family there for the fifth time.

PolandThe pools were quite busy, but hey it was July. Probably not the resort's fault but the prices in the fruit shop....
Every interaction we had with the staff at Amarin was really positive. We were delighted to receive a room upgrade when we arrived and also, as our daughter celebrated her birthday while were there she was thrilled to come back from the pool one day to see a beautiful cake and a note wishing her a happy birthday on the table :) The resort itself is large with an extensive range of activities and facilities onsite. There is a decent shop with fresh bread, cold drinks and a good selection of basics, an ATM etc. There are tons of activities for kids and adults alike. You can rent bikes, scooters, paddleboards, boats, jet skis, you name it. Mini golf, tennis, football and the list goes on an on. There are plentiful loungers and umbrellas beside the pools and also along the beach area, several beach bars serving drinks, ice-cream, snacks etc. Very good access to Rovinj itself via the Taxi boat which runs every half hour (€5) and also the tourist train which runs every 40 mins (€4 adult, €2 kids). So much more I could mention but literally everything you need for a great holiday is right here. Special mention to the wonderful staff at the kids club, they're so good humoured and so much fun, I wanted to stay there myself :) Thanks so much

NetherlandsSalty pool water. Pretty commercial attitude. Overall a bit expensive. Expensive small trips like boat, Jetski, Dolphin tours. If you book yourself or downtown much cheaper.
Clean and big property! Breakfast well organized and good. Close to the town of Rovinj. 75% of the staff was nice. Especially the driving boys (roomshuttles).

Ukrainehotel rooms, not big, when booking in the photo there was a mini kitchen with a stove, but we only had a microwave oven and an electric kettle, there was no closet for things
breakfasts and dinners are varied and delicious, the restaurant has a high level of service. The hotel grounds are very large and beautiful, including a camping hotel for trailers, mobile homes and a family hotel. During the day there is animation for children, in the evenings there is live music near the pools and bar. The guests are mostly families with children. Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked great

Czech RepublicDuring our first two days of the stay in the standard apartment, the air-conditioning wasn't able to cool the apartment down, so we had there 28 to 30 degrees Celsius. Nevertheless, we were moved to another apartment with properly working air-conditioning.
Amazing resort with many leisure opportunities for adults and children. Premium apartments are very nice and comfy. Very close to the beach. We especially appreciated a nice dog beach located in the resort. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was tasty, and there was enough of choices for everyone.

SloveniaThe apartment oudated. Need renivation. Beds were totally uncomfortable. But the major issue for a 4- star resort/ campsie: no wifi available in the oremises. In the 21st and digitalisation this is not acceptable.
Location af the apartment was ok. I. The first row with partial view to the sea. I like the cleaness of the Amarin Resort. The nearby beach with a direct view or the city of Rovinj.

RomaniaOnce Croatia in euro money zone, nasty things happens...7 euro a water-taxi trip to Rovinj one way for an adult is ...well too much. The food this time WAS NOT as good as usual, the same poor food every breackfast(for 9 days this is way too much),dinner being extremely poor, even not enough food for few evenings. The cook must have been drunk because every time the so called soup had no taste at all, being only some coloured hot water. The few other kind of food availble were obviously cooked by someone who has no idea what must have be done.Over all, food was NOT GOOD.Another problem was that they condensed the activity of the restaurant in almost half of dining area, and that area had NO AIR CONDITIONONG .You can imagine how enjoyble is to have dinner at 32-34 Celsius degrees...The same problem with AC seems to be everywhere, even in our bungalow the AC was barely enough to keep a temperature of 26-28 inside, wich is a little bit at the highest point of comfort zone.I discussed with many travellers and they all said:I RATHER PAY 150 EURO MORE AND IMPROVE FOOD AND AC.We all know that price is making difference, but this time they spared money and this is against the comfort stay of guests. My tip:There are AC equipements A+++ today,Buy them and replace the 25 years old and inefficient systems.Hire a couple of cooks which are able to cook properly.
We are here the third time.As usual staff is ok and overall everything is clean. You will find enough parking places,of course those who want the car in front of the door will be dissapointed. The accomodation is a lottery, depending of what kind of bungalow they prepared for you and where.Koffe was very good but the maschines are trimmed to give you only 30 ml of koffe,so if you wanted a good koffe you should take at least 4 ,making the bystanders nervous.WIFI improved this time but still slow sometimes.

AustriaThis year we found ants in kitchen, but bought "poison" and solved problem in two days. And we recommend to improve service in pizzeria.
Our family (My wife and I - retired, our daughter with two boys 4,5 and 7) had really nice and comfortable time. The beach is very convenient. New children playing site is perfect. Some days the sea water was polluted by water grass but we used the pools. Location was excellent! Thank you very much for administration! We asked for booking the same apartment as in 2023, and we received it.
