How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Could have used a mini fridge and mugs as there was a kettle but nothing else! The books in our room needed a dusting but the rest was super clean!
Room was spacious and great location. Bathroom was a good size and our room had a wardrobe, smart TV and desk. Aircon was amazing and was on before we checked in which helped after a day of travelling. Easy to find from the bus station if you use google maps!

The rooms are quite small, but this gets along with the central locations and is well reflected in the price.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location with parking option. The parking is a bit narrow but accommodates an SUV without issues. Very good value for money.

There was no soundproofing, so it felt like we were right next to the reception. No amenities apart from the room itself, and no free toiletries. The check-in experience wasn’t very welcoming.
Great price and location. The room felt very cosy and was of better quality than many hotel rooms. It had a small fridge and was clean. We appreciated being allowed to check out at 11:00 and the option to pay via Revolut.

Place was absolutely perfect, the host was very accommodating, the location was ideal, it was roughly 10 mins walk from the main square. The room was perfect,it was very clean with all the essentials, including air conditioning and the bathroom was very clean and tidy. Would highly recommend for a couple or solo traveller visiting Zagreb.

The room was a lot smaller than what I thought it was going to be based on the photos. However room was comfy. You do have to take luggage upstairs as there is no elevator but this is advised.
Location was good and bathroom had a good shower. Wi Fi was fast. Although my room was close to reception and the main stairs it was quiet.

My only slight criticism is the shower head power Weak to be honest, either needs descaling or a new smaller head as the water pressure is good. Not sure the free standing Aircon unit could deliver heat- I tried but failed maybe user error
Location very good, comfortable apartment, very good mattress, tv good size, shower/toilet area good size. All in all very good quality for the money. On street parking good enough but we were not charged late arrival Saturday departed Sunday afternoon

Parking place was in offer but I didn't get it. allegedly the owner said that i did not reserve it but I didn't find that option when i did booking so I had to pay parking place for 24 hours. there is no water appliance in the corridor or at the reception desk.
location is great,very near to the Theatre and the center, beds are comfortable, and it is clean and quiet, but the room on the third follor is not applicable for person who has prolbem with knees or legs since the stairs are rather steepy.

We were allowed to stay in a nice large room but I believe was too cold for the season and I prefer switch to another one smaller but warmer enough. For the rest nothing to say
The position was great. Near downtown, clean and with private parking. 10 euros per day .

The downstairs toilet made loud growling noises (could hear it upstairs) for 5-10min after each use. The shower had a good amount of hot water and pressure, but some maintenance work is needed on the shower head/wand system. The head on the wand is broken and water just pours out, you can't really adjust it at all. Also, you cannot just use the rain shower head: water will also still come out of the want. So it is waisting a lot of water during a shower The kitchen included a microwave, but only 3 small spoons (many tablespoons) and lots of dish soap, but no spongs!
Location was very good!! There were 2 bathrooms which is important with 6 people sharing an apartment. It was nice having a front desk for easy check in.

The bathroom door didn't have a doorknob, which made it difficult to close it from outside.
It was a decent stay for the price, no luxuries, but we had everything we needed.

Location is superb. Close to the upper town and close to some other museums too. The manager helped us park our car in the private parking lot. The room was clean, the bathroom spacious. We couldn't have asked for more.

Some downsides/things to consider: - Reception works from 2pm-9pm so plan arrival properly. You can leave bags at the desk for free. - No elevator. You might have to take your bags up three flights of stairs. - Not so obvious entrance - access is directly into this side street.
- Very clean - Good sized room - Good location - 15 minutes walking distance from central Zagreb - Very quiet safe area - Facilities including walk in shower, window overlooking street, comfortable beds, television, and hairdryer.

The location is perfect, close to the city center. Parking next to the house. Reception extremely friendly. We were in a small group. Everyone was satisfied. Very clean but a bit dated. If we are in Zagreb again, we will definitely come back.
