How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Not a bad hotel but not worth the money. Price is too high in my opinion. You can find cheaper hotels/rooms of the same quality in Split. Wi-Fi did not work in the room but the problem was solved by the staff. Reception desk is not 24/7.
Location is great- in the old town.

Our room did not look anything like the photos. the one window opened onto a balcony courtyard were guests from another facility could sit and so we could not open the curtain due to lack of privacy nor the window without hearing conversations.

Need nameplate outside door to reception otherwise have no idea it's the place. Also the reception door is always closed, needs to have sign saying open. Can be frustrating trying to find where to go. Shutters in bathroom , need to be closed more, as apartment opposite looks straight in when in shower. Not ideal. No soap dispenser in shower and runs out of hot water quickly..
Great location in old town, close to all shops , restaurants etc. Bed comfy, room nice, bathroom nice. Guy at reception was very helpful and friendly

No English stations on tv. Room wasn't as clean as it should have been for guests.
Location is excellent for exploring Split. Had a private patio which was lovely for morning coffee etc. Duje was very helpful and answered any questions.

booking.com didn't charge my card and they said they sent me email that I will. pay at the place so it took me 45 min to check in and sort out I was charged the tax 5 euro for two , since I was alone one person it should be 2.5
the room was great and comfortable. and hotel it's near everything you can think of from night life to restaurant.

Could do with a blind on the door to keep light out in the morning
Had a few minor problems when we first arrived but they were put right asap & the gentleman in reception couldn’t do enough to make us comfortable 😊 The private terrace was lovely to sit in with the canopy in case it became too hot , & it did !

A little noisy at night depending on what room you’re in, despite double glazing but doesn’t go on too late.
Very comfortable rooms , excellent bed. Good location, helpful staff. Easy walk to sea/ boats/ bus station.

The shower went cold in the morning so only one of us had a hot shower.
The property was in town, on a non vehicle road, with the main old town in immediate walking distance. Late check in worked easily. The room was very clean and had tea and coffee. We couldn’t have asked for better. A very pleasant stay - it’s a shame it was only one night.

Slightly dark decor which made the room feel small but was a minor issue.
Centrally located room with helpful staff who allowed us to drop our bags early and gave good recommendations. Room was clean and comfortable with a clean bathroom.

The mattress was a bit soft (so I woke up with an aching back), but that’s because I like a firm mattress, where others may not, and pillows too big/fat for me too
Great location, quiet but handy for everything and I could store my cases for the day as I was only leaving split at 17:00 The receptionist was lovely!!!

Next to quite a busy restaurant so a bit noisy at times in the evening. No major problems.
Location was great and within easy walking distance of old town. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Small problems sorted very quickly.

The room didn’t look exactly like the pictures but was still a nice little room.
Really central location in Split old town. The accommodation allowed us to check in late which was very helpful. The room has a mini fridge which was also helpful to keep drinks cool. Staff are friendly.

Nothing really but my husband heard noise from outside streets. But only to be expected given the super central location.
Very central. The rooms were spacious and quirky. Lovely little terrace. Very comfortable.
