A wall attachment for the shower head would be welcome.

This cosy studio flat is excellently located in a quiet cul-de-sac within the original site of Diocletian’s Palace, right in the heart of the old city. Numerous bars, cafés, and restaurants are just seconds away, yet, despite this, it was surprisingly quiet at night. The interior is lovingly decorated in a rustic style and equipped with everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, and the linen immaculately clean. Our host, Marino, was exceptionally friendly and helpful, providing us with lots of useful information about Split and the surrounding islands. We would be delighted to stay here again and would thoroughly recommend it.

The property was in a great location, easily accessible to shops, restaurants, bars and beaches. The host was very helpful sending us all information beforehand and has very good communication. The property has all essentials needed for cooking or making tea/coffee.

The only thing I can think of is that the shower is handheld which is just something to be aware of, but it wasn't an issue for us, and the hot water in the shower seemed to last about 5 minutes, but since we were there in very hot weather, we did not mind this at all.

The location is probably the best you can get, especially for the price. It is genuinely incredible: it is close to everything you'd need and want to see, but tucked away enough that you don't hear the busy street noise. Due to the location alone, I would recommend to book this place if it's available. The bed was very comfy and the air conditioning was a life saver. Bathroom is designed beautifully, and the apartment comes with pretty much everything you need and more (milk, orange juice, delicious biscuits, olive oil, vinegar, coffee machine, tea etc). It's a studio apartment, so great for one or two people. Marino, the host, is an incredibly kind and caring person, and went above and beyond to be helpful and provide fantastic advice!

Location was fantastic, inside the old town and within the palace walls. The restaurant right on your doorstep has amazing meals and I recommend dining here. But if you want to cook for yourself the apartment has all you need with a cooktop, microwave and all the cooking gear. The courtyard is a great space to sip wine in the evenings and a real bonus! Although I was travelling solo, this apartment is suitable for couples and has plenty of room. Communication with the owner was clear and detailed and responsive to all questions.

You need to know the hot water storage is a very small unit - so quick showers!

The apartment was very well set up with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It's tucked away at the end of a small lane with a lovely shared courtyard. The host Marino gave us excellent instructions on everything we needed to know and responded quickly on What's App.

Hard to fault this property to be honest. There was a little noise some evenings from the restaurant kitchen down the laneway, but that was to be expected gievn the central location. Certainly not something that would prevent us from returning.

Perfect studio apartment located in the the heart of the old palace. The facilities provided exceeded our expectations. The amount of little extras and attention to detail made this feel more like a home away from home! Our host provided a huge amount of information and was easily contactable should we have had a question about anything. We loved everything about our stay here.

Close to everything, an authentic cellar, great host. There is a microwave, fridge and coffee maker, a washing machine and lovely comfortable bed. The host is fabulous and he sends all the instructions on how to get to your accommodation and how to get in. It’s in a little alleyway and it’s quiet at night. The action is just around the corner where all of the amazing architecture is We would definitely stay again

Everything was great with the unit… it just takes some time to get oriented inside the palace… it is like a labyrinth … but that’s fun part of the experience.

Location is fantastic… cannot be better… the apartment is inside the Diocletian Palace, but the entrance is tucked away so no crowds or noise around the place. There are tons of restaurants around. Plus, it is close to the port and bus depot, so you can easily explore the surrounding islands and towns. Also, the unit is wonderfully designed, with the original palace look and feel… and great attention to details. One of the best features is that the unit is located on a ground floor, which was very convenient for those of us that travel with lots of luggage… as there are no elevators in the palace and lots of stairs! Finally, the host Marino is amazing, very friendly and helpful :)

There is a restaurant is on the corner (about 20 metres away and kitchen opens on to apartment laneway) and the noise was excruciatingly loud. Thunderously loud music on Saturday night until 1.30 am. Other nights noise (no music) went on until 12.00 or 12.30 am. Then loud noises about 6.30 am each morning.

Host communication was excellent. Easy check-in, clear and easy to follow directions (with photos) and supplies provided eg milk, fruit juice, bottled water plus much more. Apartment was very clean and fully equipped. No passers-by foot traffic.

This was well appointed with everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. We were given an excellent dinner recommendation. We were in the middle of the palace put in a surprisingly quiet corner.

The noise from the restaurant and the workers smoking nearby was a bit annoying, but not overwhelmingly so.

The location is amazing and the amenities are spot on. The host was always quick to respond and even brought us a drying rack when we asked. He said he plans to remodel and update soon, so I can't wait to visit again.
