Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The apartment was only a 2 minute walk to the harbour and the old town. The apartment was very clean and well presented. Josip was unable to greet us. However, his mum met us and made sure we checked in smoothly. She also lives 30 metres from the apartment. A very nice touch she brought round and meat and cheese board one evening after we had a self-inflicted issue! On the morning of our departure, she had arranged coffee and cake on her patio for us. Josip was on hand by WhatsApp to answer any questions and also advise us on bus timetables places of interest, etc. The apartment is down a little alleyway, so very quiet. 5 🌟

United KingdomLocation was perfect for accessing the Green Market, Harbour, Restaurants, places of Historical Interest and Public Transport which were all within a short walking distance. Accommodation was exactly as described and shown in the pictures, the Studio was on the Groundfloor, very clean, the bed was very comfortable, we slept very well, we were overall comfortable and felt safe. The Hosts Joseph, Dominique and her husband were most welcoming, their care and concern for our comfort was a refreshing experience we will never forget.

CanadaA coven of British gals on tour and in the sauce moved in next door on my last night. It was Sunday, so they faithfully "sang" Adele numbers until 2 am when, annoyed for my lost sleep and every else residing in this small, quaint alley, I let rage. Just living up to their reputation, I'm sure.
The property is ideally situated away from the immediate hustle and bustle of the old town but still within throwing distance of what tourists are most interested in. The hosts were lovely, accommodating, and welcoming. My ground-floor room was basic but charming. It has a slightly cavernous feel, so prepare to style yourself a modern Plato. I stayed a week and spent most mornings writing at the little table--it served the purpose. In the heat of the summer, this stonewalled room would probably be an ideal spot for escaping the heat.

United KingdomWent in July 23, extremely hot. Air conditioning wasn't working. Ended up only spending 3 nights in the property. The owner gave us a filthy, very unsafe looking fan we we couldn't use. He then stuck a portable air conditioning unit in the apartment that needed the window to be left open, and that blew out hot air from one side. We couldn't stand another night in the apartment, so we ended up booking a flight home. So in total, we spent 3 nights in this apartment, and we paid to stay in another apartment for 2 nights in the hope the air conditioning would be fixed. We paid premium rates to fly home, and the owners/Booking.com refused to refund us. Despite the apartment next to us becoming available on the morning we left, we were not offered this. 3 nights on a 10 day holiday! Total rip off, these people don't care about their guests, just profits.
It was quite close to the centre. Nothing else. Worst holiday I've ever experienced.

SpainWhen we arrived, the had to leave our luggage at the house of the owner’s mom, which is very close to the apartment, until our apartment was clean and ready. That was very helpful, however, we were surprised by a big rat running towards us in the small room where we were supposed to leave our suitcases and bags. We ended up asking if we could leave our luggage somewhere else and they agreed and let us leave it in their terrace, but we obviously felt like the hygienic conditions were very poor. The apartment is very dark and humid. No matter what we did the blankets felt wet all the time. The towels, our clothes, everything was kinda wet all the time. No natural light due to the apartment’s location. Also, regarding the location, the neighborhood didn’t feel completely safe since we were offered to buy weed in the middle of the night while going back to the apartment. There was old food expired and forgotten in the freezer. We would have appreciated a cleaner apartment overall. We also found a worm on the wall. There is a place to put your wet clothes right outside the apartment and somebody stole our swimsuit on the first night. Not safe to leave clothes outside at the place designated for it to make them dry.
The owner and his family are very kind, helpful and welcoming. They gave us advice on where to go and visit/eat. The apartment has all services like kitchen, washing machine, TV, AC… The location is great for the bus station and the ferries to go to the islands. Less than 10 min walking. This makes things very easy and comfortable. Also close to different supermarkets and bakeries, a street marked with local products and to the center.

United KingdomBiggest issue was lack of natural light in the room, very very dark and damp/musty so felt a bit depressing being in there. Felt the photos flattered it tbh. But as I say, owner was lovely, comms were good. Bed comfy. Shower and kettle worked.
Owner very hospitable. Location for the r tge Palace and bus station was ideal. Plus local shops.
