Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Not much that we didn't like. We did have an issue with the air conditioning the first day we arrived. However, Valentina was able to get the technician to come the next morning and the issue was resolved and it felt great! She also gave my friend and I a bottle of prosecco, unfortunately we never got a chance to open it so hopefully the next guest can enjoy it!
The location is perfect and it was a great room size for a couple or even 2 friends like for our stay. The shower with the steam is AMAZING!! I didn't want to get out! They provide beach towels if you ask and also slippers and body wash/shampoo. My flight ended up being cancelled, so I had to stay one more night in Split and was able to book again for an extra night which was so convenient! There is a flight of stairs, But the location is very safe and secure!

Everything about this place was brilliant! Valentina the host and the housekeeper were both so accommodating and kind. They both helped us out with any questions and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. It was always kept so clean and we got new towels every day. The beds were so comfy and the location was absolutely perfect with us being right beside the main town. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy their trip in split.

Room cleaning was skipped on the first day, however Valentina made up for the error. The entrance was a little concerning but the room was sufficient despite the way the entrance looked.
Location was excellent. The room was a perfect size for two people. Everything wa sufficient. Valentina was very responsive to all our needs. I recommend this place.

TV didn't work but we didn't need it.
Nice clean room everyday. Lovely maid friendly and welcoming. The owner helped with booking restaurants and gave lots of useful information like places to park eat. Great welcome email and really fast response to any issues or questions. Great location.

Check-in where you have to send your IDs via whatsapp and they say someone is available up until 11pm but it wasn’t the case for us even when we called. There is a boiler but no coffee in the room

Although the room was generally quiet, the door to the hallway is not soundproof. One of the nights people talking in the hallway actually woke me up
The location is perfect, very close to the Old City but in a quieter area. The room is spacious and comfortable. It has an electric kettle for tea or coffee

Last minute parking wasn't possible at the location. Breakfast not available at the location. You have to walk 500 metres to the restaurants..
Clean and spacious, especially the bathroom. Silent air conditioning. If you are not in a hurry, the breakfast to the restaurant is a good choice. It is located on the sea side, in a nice square.

Keep in mind, there is no microwave or anything similar. You will have to eat outside (not a problem if you are vacationing at split though :) )
Everything was perfect. Staff is very friendly and helping. We even got a PDF with recommendations. Old town is 5 minutes walking. Steam shower is amazing. Totally recommend. There is a clothes steamer and they even have beach towels if you ask for it!!

Very clean, modern, beach towels were available upon request, towels changed every day, shampoo conditioner body wash all included. No issues with the air con and great location short walking distance from the centre.

Very nice place close to everything in Split. Good bed, great shower and quiet. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends and family. Valentina, the owner, is very nice.

Guessing due to the structure of the building, the footsteps from the upper Floor. There are detectors (sure they have a reason) that are mounted every edges of ceiling in every room even in the toilet. When you move it detects your movement and blinks in red which is very annoying.
Valentina dealing with the hotel is very helpful and good at hosting. The room is very clean and it’s located in perfect spot very close to old town so you can reach every where with in 5 minutes by walking.
