The hotel is apparently getting ready for a major renovation, which has resulted in them not investing anything in regular maintenance.

We've been here before because nice beach, friendly staff, clean rooms, and decent food. And again we had the same experience.

They need a good manager, who will control household and revive the hotel. Now it is too tired.

Sea view was amazing! Location and private beach also is pretty good. Variety of dishes for dinner, lot of fruits. Close to the city center, you can just walk on quay.

Small rooms, lack of any activities, no refrigerator in rooms

Location is perfekt, staff were very kind and helpful, food is good for value, beautifull nature, smell, small little beach very good for small kids.

No Wifi in the room at all surprisingly. Only in the lobby and in the main building where the reception was. The buildings where the rooms were needs total renovation. It will be closed for renovation from October 2025 and open again in June 2026. Not possible to buy snacks or water in this hotel after the beach bar closed at 7 PM or when the restaurant closed at 8:30 PM where you could take free water along with other drinks from a dispenser. You had to walk to a Studenac convenience store 10 min from the hotel to buy water or other snacks that closed around 11 PM.

The breakfast and dinner buffet was good with good variety of food. It was good that this hotel had a beach attached to the hotel where the sunbeds were free of charge. Friendly staff.

The breakfust and the dinner were lovely. Variety of food, fruits, pastries and sweets. The kitchen and room service stuff were so caretaking and helpful. I was very impressed by the quality of service they provided. Huge thanks to everyone especially Angela, who tirelessly made sure we enjoyed our stay.

There is not enough sunbeds for all guests. The staff followed instructions from management to take private towels from sunbeds. The management did not have a correct attitude towards the guests and argued with them. The renovation of the hotel was done in an extremely poor quality.

This hotel so obviously needs big money spent on renovation as it is very outdated with very old furnishings in some cases. The gap in the top of the room door is just weird!

I know I’m echoing what a lot of reviews have said but given the basic state of the building, the staff have done their best to give a cheerful welcome and maximise the quality of the facilities. Proximity to the sea was fantastic and if you have a car, a nice short journey to town. Good breakfast.

Very dated property not been any upgrading done on it for many years, very small bath you had to hold the shower head to have a shower, a taxi ride to get into Hvar.

It was clean, house keeping were round daily, bed I found comfy, new air conditioning unit, staff were friendly and great location by the sea.

Shabbiness of the whole place, it is pretty run down. It is not a problem that hotel is not new or modern , we knew it would be retro and that is fine, but some minimal maintenance is expected for a 3 star hotel. For example: we expected at least a doorknob for entering the pavilion, rusty balcony fences, and broken light bulbs in room. Those would not be a big cost repairs. We feel like the owner 'Sunčani Hvar' does not invest enough in Sirena hotel, or keep it maintained to a 3star level. We feel they are just squizing money out of it, without any improvement investments, while they can,

Rooms are looking out to the sea and you hear waves at night. Beach and sea was clean. Food was great, great value for money. Rooms are small but clean. Staff was really friendly and open for chit chat.

While the rooms were very clean, they were outdated, and noise from the corridor was easily heard due to what seemed like a wooden gap above the door. Additionally, the balcony door did not close completely.

A wonderful location with a rocky beach leading to the sea, plenty of sunbeds, and beautiful views from our room window. The breakfast was also very plentiful and filling. There are 2 beach bars. The rooms are clean and cleaned daily. The staff are very nice and helpful.

On arriving at the hotel, I was disappointed with the outside building. Needs painting and repairs. But once we had settled in my opinion changed as could not have found a better place.

The location was fantastic. The views were excellent and so quiet. I have never met a more welcoming group of staff. Nothing was too much. Breakfast was a banquet. Rooms clean and beds very comfortable.

Property is very old and not really up to the mark. Maintanance suffers, recreation infrastructure is antiquated, staff at reception think and act like it’s 1990. Property is also off the city centre so commuting is a hassle, but that’s a smaller issue compared to the price I pay for living in a hotel from the 90s.

Room is dated, particularly the bathroom. No wifi available in rooms and I also had poor mobile data connection.

The buffet breakfast was the highlight and the hotel beach is one of the nicest city beaches, which I could also overlook from my balcony.

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. Yes its very old,but the beach,food and staff impress me. Big super thanks to Aleksandar from reception who was proffessional and Extraordinary and help me and guiding me about the best trips,beaches and places in town and on island Hvar. Thank you.
