Dear Guillermo Thank you for your comments, your review is much appreciated. We are glad to hear you liked your stay with us. In regards to the free parking yes it can be difficult at busy times but there are plenty of spaces just need a bit patience, most of our guests have always managed to find free spots during non busy hours. And in regards to the paid parking, that is always an option at quite a reasonable cost (1€/hr) and free 1900-0700 every day and free every Sunday and holidays which is way cheaper than many other towns for a parking this close to city centre. And of course our location is also considered part of the centre a busy administrative area so there is some traffic outside on which we cannot influence but as you mentioned the noise is minimal inside due to the triple glazed windows. Also the traffic noise outside depends on the time of day, usually is quite quiet after working hours. Thank you for staying with us and hope we can welcome you again in future. Dear Isabel, Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a detailed comment. To make one thing clear, you rented a room in private accommodation with no breakfast option hence the kitchen facility for yourselves was a bonus and should not be treated as one of the requirements. If you needed a full size kitchen facility with a dining table inside your room, you should have stretched your budget and rented an apartment rather than a room. Hotel type rooms are not equipped with tables for dining inside the room and are not meant for guests who plan to cook and prepare own food which you did through your entire stay. Once you were warmly welcomed and explained everything, it was obvious that you were led by a false impression that you have rented an entire apartment rather than a room and considering all the circumstances, where we went far and beyond from what is required by a good host, it is rather unfair to have assigned such a grade and given negative comments for something that is not included in our offer. In regards to the outside noise we would suggest looking for accommodation outside the city centre. We are located in a busy part of the Split city centre which is very much as noisy as anywhere else in the world for a city of similar size so nothing unusual with that. Dear Francisco, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are happy to hear you liked and enjoyed our place. In regards to your comment about the building being neglected from the outside, kindly note that this is an old part of town with building dating from 1930-ies. Nevertheless, it is regularly maintained, common areas inside the building are cleaned on regular basis and any repairs are swiftly done. The facade was recently renewed and power washed several times. Since it is on a busy street it gets dust from the passing traffic. It has also been painted with graffiti which we are currently waiting to be removed by local authorities. Furthermore, all our rooms are perfectly soundproof and our windows are tripple glazed which prevents the noise from the outside. So far we didn't have problems with the neighbour upstairs and his guests. That apartment is also out for daily rent during summer. Unfortunately, that kind of noise we cannot predict since it depends on the guests themselves. Best regards, Scuderia Split

Regarding the building itself, it dates back from pre WW2 and is regularly maintained from the inside as well as from the outside. The facade has been all renovated 20 years ago and the outside walls are also cleaned every year. Unfortunately, the graffitti on the facade of our and many other buildings are a problem created by football hooligans and are thus an issue for local authorities.
