How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Maria is an excellent host. I would recommend the apartment to those who need a central location in Split because it’s walkable to all the main spots.

Located on the edge of Split old town and 5 minutes walk from Split Riva it was a perfect location. Could not fault the apartment. So very comfortable and modern. The host was super friendly and extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend this apartment.

Very cute and clean apartment with everything needed for a stay! Just next to the Old town and a walking distance to beaches, port (who wants to take at early cruise), bus station, shops etc. Owner was very kind and helpful, gave a lot of recommendations on where to go, eat, swim etc. Very good Wi-fi connection. I recommend a lot!

Marija the host was wonderful. Always there to help, even with matters beyond the accommodation. She went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The location of the place was perfect, so close to all the main sights. We would highly recommend!

The only downside is that street and corridor noise can be heard, so I recommend bringing earplugs.
The host was exceptionally accommodating, offering valuable tips and recommendations about local attractions and restaurants. The apartment is perfectly located, sparkling clean, and recently refurbished in a modern style. The charming balcony is ideal for enjoying a coffee in the sun.

Property was quite hard to find at first. At nighttime could be quite noisy but was only once or twice.
Property had everything you needed, microwave, plates/cutlery, dishwasher, hob, washing machine and towels & toiletries provided. The balcony was an additional bonus to sit out on whilst getting ready for going out for dinner! It was easy walking distance to all parts of Split. Marija was an excellent host and went out of her way to accommodate us!

Nothing it was perfect.
Gorgeous design and furnishings. Very comfortable bed, lovely shower, great air con. Very very clean and tidy! Marija is the perfect host, she is full of local knowledge and very accommodating with our check in and out times. With her advice on places to go, food to eat and the spectacular view point in the city we had a great stay.

The owner Marija was very welcoming. She provided us with all of the thinhs we needed to know in our stay. The apartment was siper clean, convient and next to a bus stop. I have nothing to complain about, would definetly return again!

The only thing that were a little less, were the pillows. They were a little too thin and difficult to find a comfortable position but that was the only thing.
The location was fantastic, next to the old center and nice bars and restaurants but calm not to have too much noise. The appliances were fully covered with an iron, washing machine, cutlery, balcony, drying rack, etc everything to feel at home. The host was also so kind and eager to help with any question or problem. And finally, the bathroom and hygiene in general is one of the best of where we have ever been.

The size of the room.

There was tea cups for tea but they were never replaced and there is no where to really wash them. So if you are there for a few days it means your only rinsing out your cups which is less then ideal No sugar milk or coffee provided
The property was in a wonderful location and the host was incredibly friendly and accommodating
