How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Bit on the expensive side since it feels more like an AirBnB rather than a regular hotel. You have to go offsite for the breakfast (5 minutes away). It is only available after 8am. However, you can get a to-go pickup of the breakfast the previous night if you have to leave early the next day.
Centrally located. Comfortable rooms. Convenient to restaurants, attractions, grocery stores and more. Especially liked the booklet in each room providing information on nearby services such as laundry, tours and more. Good wash & fold laundry nearby. Note that this place is not like a hotel with staff on site. You can communicate with staff and get information using WhatApp. Toni was very pro-active and gave us a lot of information when we checked in.

Having to walk up 3 flights of stairs. If you have dodgy knees it’s quite taxing.
It was very hot when we visited Split. Tony already has the ac cranking when we arrived which was heaven! We stayed in the Flora room and the bathroom was amazing!!

The room was nice; however, the other parts I’d building were really dirty. Floors and stairways very dirty.
Location and Tony was very helpful. My husband and I are elderly and had trouble maneuvering with our luggage and he kindly helped us coming and going.

Strategically located. Less than 5 minutes from the most beautiful places, i.e. the Old Town and the promenade, etc. Very tidy. Owner friendly. Easy to communicate with him. Attention to detail, at times it felt like a hotel room :). Good breakfast in a very nice restaurant.

Very comfortable accommodations. Easy 5min walk to Old Town. Met us at the room and provided is with keys and explained what we needed to be comfortable. Very accommodating with our departure. Offered a late check out and luggage storage as our boat didn’t leave port until 5pm. Highly recommend staying here.

Shower - made a weird noise when using the upper one and the water pressure could have been better. Not a big thing but was a bit annoying. My husband found that bed sheets looked tired.
It had a lot of the things. Classes, shampoo, tea maker, good breakfast. Easy communication with the host. Netflix 😀

bed was extremely creaky (it's made out of metal), and unfortunately a little too short for me (1,93m). But if you don't move much or are smaller, this is not a big issue.
breakfast at the Luxor café was very good, I recommend going there early though, as it gets busy fast due to its location. The staff was extremely friendly and helped us with our luggage up the stairs, so its location on the 3rd floor wasn't a big problem. Location of the property is really good as well.

Minimal room to put your suitcases
Our organised transfer through the accommodation, from the airport to our room, was seemless. Our driver was friendly and knowledgeable. Our check-in was seemless. The room was very clean and comfortable . The location was perfect and so close to everything, including the supermarket on the corner. The old town was less than five minutes' walk, which had everything at your doorstep including restaurants and shops. The breakfast included was superb. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone staying in Split.
